May 9, 200719 yr Hello everybody. I have a problem with RC4.3 that I need your help with. I'm running a clean (no add-ons) instalation of FSX under Vista. I can run RC, load my flightplan, start it and see the the Radar Contact window inside FS, no problem. The problem is that my keypresses don't do anything. I have tried changing the keys on RC options, but no matter what combination I use, RC won't respond.I accidentally discovered that if I crash the plane and let FSX reload, then RC will act normally.I hope my post is clear enough, and will appreciate any help on the matter.Regards.

May 11, 200719 yr Hi Psyonic,I had the same problem with RCV4 for FSX as well. I fixed it by always checking through the various screens/options in RC after loading up my flight plan. For example I double check my selected aircraft and callsign, then the Controller info, followed by a quck check of voices and key selection, but generally leaving these settings to the default, and then running RCV4. I do this EVERY time I wish to run a flightplan on RC.This now works for me every time, I hope it helps you as well!Regards,Fisky1.Galway,Ireland.
May 11, 200719 yr Just to clarify, are you stating that RC4.3 under Vista is not saving your key assignments and other items between sessions? Is RC installed in its own folder not under Program Files? Thanks for comments.
May 12, 200719 yr Thank you, friend Fisky1.Your method works, and is quicker than mine: I started my flight, then stopped it, and then restarted it. The second time RC works perfectly, but it has the downside of having to wait for FSX.Mr. Grinberg: No, the options ARE saved and remain the same between sessions (unless I change them, of course). The issue is not with that, but with nothing happening with my keypresses inside FS when first starting a new flight.
May 14, 200719 yr Your Welcome Psyonic,Im glad this method works for you as well,Regards,Fisky1Galway,Ireland.
