Missing runways

Featured Replies

I have a small problem I'm hopping someone will be able to help me with. I am using FlyTampa's KTPA scenery and for some reason runways 36L and 36R are not showing up in RadarContact. I get 18L and 18R to show up as well as 09 and 27.I have tried every AFCAD file I could find for this scenery and I have rebuilt the database in Radar Contact using the latest version of makerunways after installing each one.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what version of makerwys are you running?zip up the makerwys.txt file in the foor of the fs directory, and email it to mejd

I'm using make runways version 4.12I am unable to find the "makerwys.txt" file in my fs directory. I have a runways.txt file and a runways.cvs file are either one of those what you are looking for?And thanks for the quick reply.

Look in your rcv4 directory. It should be there under your program files.

If you have the older version of KTPA from a CD collection, check the version number. If needed go here to download an update:http://www.flytampa.org/downloads.htmlwhich includes a new afcad file.I also placed (moved)the AF2_ file in a folder I have called AFCAD2Sscenery added to the scenery library that runs at a higher priority than most scenery files especially airport sceneries. After moving the AF2_ files to a higher priority (lower number near the top) folder, run FS to let the scenery files reindex. Then close FS and open RC to run the rebuild scenery database function. I recall having to do this.My version has all of the runways showing in the RC runway data file. Note that runway 9 is closed for landing.
