Hi, Last night I was happily riding the ILS to Quebec Jean Lesage CYQB (and was cleared to do so) when an AI plane overtook me 800 ft below and landed in front of me. He was also getting his clearances from the controller. Not surprisingly I got a go around at the last minute.I have AI interaction and AI chatter enabled. Is something wrong with my setup??Louis

were you on approach freq or tower freq?

It started overtaking me on approach. Then it got switched to tower. I then got switched to tower. Just before I touched down i got the go around.

i don't think i seperate them in approach. i think that if this had happened on tower freq, i would have moved him out of the way rather quickly.i think i start doing more seperation in approach in v5.

I was sitting waiting for clearence to line up on the runway when a Continental was cleared for take off. Before it could taked off a Northwest landed and ran right into the Continental. And I have had other planes to land in front of me while on the runway for takeoff.

Links at the head of this forum.Make sure you have Interact with AI checked and if you wish to hear RC chatter with AI on the same frequency check that in options as well.RC does not separate AI from each other, just you in specific situations.For independent of RC AI sepasration control search for AISmooth and FS9 Configurator in this forum. The first offers AI spacing and the second allows for FS9 increasing AI taxi speed so AI get on and off the runway more efficiently, both reducing congestion. Both are freeware.

i don't control what the ai do on the front end. they can do what ever whacky things they want to dojd
