save the flight plan in fs200x .pln file format. that's all i'm looking forjd

As jd stated export it to FS .pln format as well as your LD FMC format (check those in build options).Any SIDS or STARS included in your FSB route plan will be expanded to individual waypoints on export to the FS and LD formats. By loading those into RC and your FMC your waypoints will be in sync between them as opposed to using the LD FMC procedure database. While RC by default may not use all the waypoints in a SID or STAR by default, it will use part of them because they appear in the flightplan using this method.See the manual for more details.
