is there anyway of starting rc during a flight and disabling the aircraft jumping to the departing airport because this has ruined some of my flights where ive been forced to re start the network machine with rc on it and the aircraft has jumped back to the beginnig of a 8 hour flight kav

you can't start rc in the middle of the flightyou can load a save .rcd file from where you've done a save.why would you start rc in the middle of a flight?jd

because its on a network machine and the network machine crashed/froze half way through the flight and i had no choice but to restart it and rc and therefor i was forced to re start rc 7 hours in to the flight which caused havoc and ruined the flightkav

in a situation like that, you might want to save the flight every 30 minutes by pressing the ; keythis will also cause a .rcd file to be created.then when you computers/network crashes, you cna start rc from the last saved .rcd filejd

If not on FSX you can automate this by getting autosave.dll from:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlThe file goes into your modules folder along with a .cfg you can edit to set up the number of files to save and the duration between them. Files are only saved when you are moving.I think it will work with the RC registered version of FSUIPC.dll but you can try it.A paid registration of FSUIPC4 for FSX contains this feature accordiong to the description.Read the document that comes with it for more insight.
