  1. John,Thanks for the heads-up! Downloading as I write this...Regards,Scott (KJMS)
  2. Michael,Greetings! I don't have broadband so I can't download the entire package - thanks for breaking it up in to small files! My question is the air file. I downloaded the IFDG NWA 757-200 and then started installing the files from your site. I notice that the continental aircraft config file says sim-757, whereas the NWA aircraft config says sim=pw2037 - v4 Also on in the description you mention a "tweaked" air file. Is the file that came with the NWA757 the "tweaked" one? If not, where is it available. I went to the link in the above post and did not see it there. Thanks and warm regards,Scott (KJMS)
  3. Greetings! Unfortunately, Paul's magnificent MD80 panel as it stands is not compatible with FS2K2. However, a fellow came up with a patch that can be downloaded athttp://digilander.iol.it/aliditalia/panelseu.htmlthat will allow you to use it in FS2K2.Instructions are included in the readme file (you will also need the original version of the panel). However, DO NOT try to use the overhead panel. It will lock up your computer. I've been using the patched panel quite successfully with the Project Freeware DC9's. It would be wonderful if Paul or someone made the panel fully compatible with FS2K2...Hope this helps, Regards,Scott (KJMS)
  4. Thanks for the info. I know, I've heard many things about Great Lakes. In my case, though, since I'm low on Multi time, they might be the best bet in town. Talked with one of their pilots yesterday and he said he'd walk the application in for me. He said that most of their pilots stick around for 2 to 3 years then move on. His advice is to get about a thousand hours PIC turbine time with them and then move on. It's definitely not a company to plan on staying with from what I've heard.Of course, as you said, beggars can't be choosers...especially in my case at the ripe old age of 44 ;-)Regards,Scott (KJMS - former cropduster, CFII)
  5. I'd like to see a Great Lakes B1900D. I fuel them here at KJMS when I'm not flight instructing. Actually thinking about applying with them since they're hiring First Officers again...Regards,Scott (KJMS)
  6. Al,That Connie looks MAGNIFICENT!!!! Salivating all over the keyboard....Looking forward to the release of that package!Regards,Scott (KJMS)

  8. It's not just you. I experienced the same exact thing on the approach. There are a few misaligned localizers and glideslopes in FS2K2. Let's just hope there's some scenery designer out there who will fix them someday...Regards,Scott (KJMS)
  9. Mark,Thanks for the link - that is a FANTASTIC site! Downloading the L188 package as I write this....Regards,Scott(KJMS)
  10. *Snip*>Personally, I think I am starting to become one of the >Pigeon Hole 4 group -- Bill Lyons aircraft and the new >Junkers have a great sound about them. Hi there! I would love to see a "retro" sim myself. What is this in the above quote about a Junkers? Please tell me there's an FS2K2 JU52-3m plane and panel out there somewhere....Regards,Scott(KJMS)
  11. Greetings all. Same here - just did a search on avsim in every category that I could think of and it came up empty. Most strange...I love this site, but I wish their file library search functions were just a little more user friendly. Seems I never can find what I'm looking for here.Regards,SC
