hello,mabe your system cant handle the aircraft or you did some thing horribly wrong when you installed it and some how a file or files became corrupted and are not getting uninstalled or replaced on a reinstall of fs2k2. Please explain exactly when and how fs is freezing.Andrew

hello,Today I decided to go back to fs2002s default clouds instead of using the fsw clouds for performance reasons. They looked great but I felt they just completely killed my frame rates. Especially the monster thunder storm clouds beutiful but........ deadly on framerates. Where are the default fs2k2 clouds located? Thanks,Andrew :-wave

hello,I have mine set at 30 with a AMD 2100+ XP and a GF3 TI500. Film and TV cant be compared since TV never stutters and holds a constant fps. Perhaps it even has less detail. (A Progressive scan DVD player and TV on the other hand have plenty of detail.) Film is blurred to make it seem like its running faster to normal people or with higher fps to people like us. Computer graphics are not blurred or anything and each frame has the same high detail.Andrew :-wave

These drivers are pathetic for fs2002 or any other sim Ive never seen so much texture shimmering and swimming in my life :-)(well thats my opinion) Image quality looks kinda good for games like quake 3 and jedi outcast.I recommend them if youd do anything to get rid of blurries!I dont reccomend them if you have a Graphics card any slower than a Geforce 2 GTS.:-wave Andrew

Uncheck the box labeled "use simplified fsaa convulsion method" <----if you have the newest version of Geforce tweak utility. Uncheck "use 8 bit paletized textures for fsaa" or something like that if you have the older version of Geforece tweak utility. That should do it :-) Andrew

8x is the max if you fly with the autopilot. I find flying an aircraft by hand at 16x very uncomfortable.Andrew

I think its a video card memory problem. I have a 64mb Gf2 Mx400. I havent checked but the textures for the debonair seem large. They always take longer to load about 2-5 seconds than any other aircraft. The quality is a plus though, it makes up for the time it takes to load. I used to have a Voodoo 3 2000 and if I remember correctly those have only 16 mb of ram.Andrew

yea, same here episode 3 is gonna be awsome. I wonder if they are gonna take out episodes 4,5 and 6 on DVD. Have they ever been out on DVD? The VHS tapes just dont cut it. :-(Andrew

Georgi,I agree my graphics with mip mapping off look exactly the same as you second pic absolutely crappy lol. I mean sure you may get a better looking aircraft but whats the point if everything else looks crappy. Id never turn it off its a "loose loose" situation. You turn it off the quality goes down (way down) and the performance also goes down.Andrew

I would help you but Ive already forgotten all about fs2000. Fs2002 is much better and all ATC instructions can be made to appear on the screen written so its hearing impaired friendly I guess :-) Andrew

heres what I do if fuel is a factor......if there are like 3 or more aircraft ahead of you just cut the engines and have some coffee. After everyones gone just start the engines and moe ahead. Who cares about those drunk pilots behind you. If your really in a hurry just go into the grass next to the AI aircraft drag race them to the beggining of the runway lol of course youll win since they taxi at 5 knots.Andrew

I just saw it and one word....wow. It makes up for everything bad in the first one (ie jar jar isint annoying this time) George Lucas has made a winner this time :-). If you didint like episode 1 dont make the mistake of not seeing the second. Do yourself a favor and go see it! You wont come out dissapointed. Id need more vocabulary to describe how cool this movie is. Make sure you get their at least an hour early (depending on the popularity of the movie theater). Jango Fett and Yoda are so cool in this movie that Id go see it just for them. :-)AndrewYoda is the best!

If your stuck with Windows ME like me youll find that fs2002 runs fine under Win me. Andrew

yea, go for the MSI 128mb card. Boy those GF3s sure are getting cheap I remember when I bought my wimpy Gf2 for I thing it was $129.Andrew

In fs2k2 unless the aircraft has autoland which the falcon 50 or any other default aircraft dont. You always turn off the autopilot at about 500 ft and hand fly the airplane all the way to touchdown. I think thats what they do in real life if they arent gonna be doing an autoland.

that last one IS real no seams I saw it on the news i believe it happened during September at KORD or some airport in Boston or mabe it was..ah well i dont know it happened up in the NE of the US.Andrew
