  1. Is it possible to send data both to the ms standard ap and, for example, the pmdg ap at the same time?If we could "double" the output of the saitek panel (e.g. make it send the inputs to both the standard and the add-on autopilot at the same time), we could place a hidden standard ap on the addon-plane's panel. this hidden ap would be inactive but still send it's data back to the saitek panel providing it with correct LED readouts. As I understand it the only problem so far is that the Saitek thingie requires input from a standard ms ap in order to be able to display correct values.Would this work?
  2. @RHodgeYou did some nice shopping there! Aw, this happens when the community is kept outside during product development...not the first time :( On the other hand, I'd bet the farm on it that Pete could come up with some sort of software-interface. I mean, this thing obviously sends and receives data...someone spy that out. Now who's gonna call for Pete...? :(
  3. Ain't it possible to assign the PMDG Keypresses to the Multi Panel via FSUIPC?
  4. Yes. As stated earlier, the package does not contain a few voice sets which I couldn't find before production start. Use the 58 sets provided only, otherwise you will have unedited sets mixed with edited ones.
  5. Thanks Scott, a pat on the back is always welcome and the best reward :)
  6. Errm...what?All you have to do is MOVE (for Christ sake even the readme states "move, NOT copy") the mentioned directories to a backup location and the unzip the 10 parts of part 2 to the winwood directory. I don't understand how you ended up having the same folders in each zip, this is definitely ot the case with the uploaded files, please make sure you are using the right ones.
  7. Why don't you use the included new pilot voices? And as for RC5: chances are good that I will be involved, so keep looking forward to it - it has plenty of outstanding new features that will make any other ATC sollution obsolete, and I mean that :(
  8. As stated earlier, please send such requests via email (see the bottom of the readme file). Also make sure you include the word LINK in the message referer. I get bombed with positive feedback which is really great, so including that word will make it easier to find these links
  9. I could not dig through all possible combinations of available packages, I'm sorry but you'll have to cope with this - no rose without a thorn. You could email me the direct links to further packs, and should time allow I might add these.
  10. So far you are the only one reporting this, probably some kind of tweak others don't have?
  11. Included are the latest versions that were available at the time of production start (some months ago).

There's a new version out now, easy to install with new features
  13. Uploading the new version now!
  14. What exactly is your problem? You may as well wait until this weekend when a new version will be available with faster talking and other improvements, as this version will be much more simple to install.
  15. I am testing a new version of the package at this moment that has a 20% acceleration giving even better results. In some cases even more would have been possible, but you may understand that I did not want to go through all 80.000 files again :( The 20% setting appears to be the best for all sets. RC5 will most likely have VERY realistic sentence compilation as there will be no pauses at all at the beginning/the end of a sample. These will be added during playback as required, which should provide the most fluent and human-like generated ATC ever in computer games :( Next step with this new package will be the inclusion (that korekt inglisch?) of 4 dedicated pilot voices that will have a different effect (not completely dry as the default voices but slightly towards some sort of intercom sound (basically a low cut EQ). Will make a spectrometer test with a couple of intercom recordings I have and set the filter accordingly. The new package will have an idiot-proof installer (I'm NOT stating that those who had problems installing are idiots, but that even idiots might be able to install this :( )Should time allow, the new package should be online by the weekend.
  16. Good hint! Maybe a change of the txt files inside those folders would allow to ADD them (maybe change their name to designate them as pilot voices)?
  17. ROFLAs for the "missing" files: I tried to include as many packages as I could find, looks like I missed out one - but this is not really a problem as long as you follow the instructions and MOVE the original files to the backup folder. By just COPYING them, RC might be looking for stuff that ain't there anymore.
  18. Erm, we'd see more if we didn't refer to them as "chicks".
  19. I have both RC4 and PFE - with RC4 it takes literally 10 seconds to set up a flight, using PFE it takes a couple of minutes *for the experienced* user. There's just too much to take care of for my taste. Another thing that kept me away from PFE was the fact that it crashed quite often (the program simply closed without notice) leaving me without ATC and unable to connect to MSATC as the keys were still trapped by PFE - very odd. However this was more likely a problem on my side as I haven't really seen many with this particular problem. Even the new voices in PFE do not sound like radio transmissions; to me ease of use and sound is more important than local accents. But as said above, both titles have their pros and cons.
  20. The only reason for this could be that your drive was heavily fragmented, and the many thousand files got spilled all over it wherever there was space. Defrag that drive, and all should be quick and slick again. Defragmenting HDs always had a very high priority on my FS machines as it turned out to be the culprit of many different problems (blurry textures, stutter, long loading times, sound issues...)And regarding those "clean" voices, at leat on an airliner you would never hear it like that in reality. If you want to use it like that, also change the details in the text files in those directories so that you can always see which voice packages are unedited. AVSIM!
  21. Well, in airliners cockpit communication is run via intercom which sounds (depending on the equipment) almost like radio comms, so it's not that unrealistic to have your copilot sound like that. On most systems I have flown with, you hear your own voice as well via the intercom.
  22. Starting with the DOWNLOADED files, I don't really see what's so difficult to understand with the earlier explanation in this thread: Unzip the downloaded files to C:\ (root directory). You will end up with five zip filesmwrc4_vocpack_part1.zipmwrc4_vocpack_part2.z01mwrc4_vocpack_part3.z02mwrc4_vocpack_part4.z03mwrc4_vocpack_part5.z04RENAME them tomwrc4_vocpack.zipmwrc4_vocpack.z01mwrc4_vocpack.z02mwrc4_vocpack.z03mwrc4_vocpack.z04Now double-click the first one (mwrc4_vocpack.zip) and extract the whole package to the directory
