Thank you all for your help.
I tested out different settings for Antialiasing and finally found one that met my needs, at least for the moment. My GPU is pretty dated, so I will look for a new one.
Again, thanks a ton!

Steve,
thank you for being the first person trying to help me. I thought about that but I was on a very early driver, some 2xx.xx and I never updated it because it worked like a charm.
Then along comes some new aircraft and gives me all sorts of troubles so I bit the bullet and updated the driver as per the support recommendations. Now I am not sure how to roll back to such an early driver version and if this would not kill more stuff.
I would be happy if someone could instruct me on how to set appropriate settings for a 3xx.xx driver that match more or less with the instructions provided here but for an older driver.
Sorry for me being a bit fearful about more fiddling around, but I hope for your understanding!
Cheers

Hello knowing community,
I made the tactical mistake and updated my nvidia driver to the version 361.75. Now I have a slight moiré on the displays and the weather is partly displayed as rectangular plateau, better said, it is a graphical artefact.
I was trying to follow Ryans instruction on how to setup this driver properly, but this new driver does feature completely different functions or I am simply a bit thick.
Additionally I fiddled around with the DX10 fixer 3.2.3, which did not change anything on the night textures of the sceneries I really fly often into, so I disabled DX10-preview again.
If one merciful soul out there should have a solution for this combination of issues I would be highly grateful and offer german beer!
Best and cheers!

Hi Robert,
It is always funny to watch you guys talking about us in the 3rd person like we aren't in the room. :-p
(Note: The above comment is not intended to confirm or deny any of the rumors, innuendo, wild-guesses, or just plain old conjecture present in this thread- except for that one guy who guessed correctly, but this thread will not confirm which guy that was...)
Now this is just plain mean, to let us in the dark, ain't it?

Hi all,
just out of curiousity: I recently saw a video starting a CFM-engine in an airbus during outside temperatures in -10° C or less. The oil pressure rose significantly until the oil warmed up and became more fluid so did no longer create this overpressure.
Since I see so many exciting indications on the T7 during engine start (VIB high at low rpm for example) I was wondering if there is some system in these very engines to avoid this overpressure or if this is a shortcoming of FSX.
If I recall correctly, if you start an engine in one of A2A's airplanes at low temperatures you also have to wait till the oil pressure drops from increasing oil temperature.
You see, this airplane is so shining that such a minor thing appers to be incorrect, even if it might be not!
Best all

Dear all,
I do not want to get confused here, RAAS pro that came with the T7 wants to update itself, which is all good and well. On the website they mention an already updated version of RAAS pro that comes with the T7 installer and an SP1D.
I am sure I did not miss a SP, except for the one for FSX:SE since I do not own FSX:SE. Is that the one meant? Do I simply download the RAAS-pro-installer for my T7 and I am set?
Thanks in advance

Hi Andrew,
I might be wrong here, but the TOD does only show up on the PROG page of the FMC not on the LEG page. It is recalculated when you download winds to start the descent sooner or later according.
Hope that helps and I also hope I am not wrong.

Hi all,
i fiddled around with AES (Airport Enhancement Services from Aerosoft) to create a working config file for my 77F (Lufthansa Cargo) but it was never to my liking. Was anyone of you more successful or has found a source for a really good working config? If so, I would highly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

I got once stopped by the police, they asked me if I had drunk anything this day, i said yes. They then let me do an alco-test that zeroed out. They then asked me what the drink was, i replied "coffee" they said "but there is no alcohol in coffee!", i replied, that they never asked if i had had alcohol as a beverage.
After they had checked my car more than thoroughly and for more than 25 minutes they eventually let me go. Since this event i like to predict a bit of what the expected answer could be...

Definitely no hero, from this angle it is hard to judge if there was a go around necessary but i would have peed my pants as the PNF!

Welcome back Randy, i can only second what the others said. Happy to see you back here especially with such great aircraft around as the MD-11 and the 737 NGX.
Best to you in the future and hope to read more from you since i remember you as well from FS9 days!

Always in for ritual sacrifices, together with some dancing for rain!BestHolger KneibMartin-If the development timeline for the 777 isn't shorter than the NGX, we will be forced to make a ritual sacrifice of Ryan in order to please the development gods... -
This is a very reasonable and valid point especially if you want to help people that are new to an aircraft of the complexity of the NGX...It could also make sense in bug tracking for developers "hint" themselves. There is this MD-80 that has what i would think is a simplified version of an FDR but nothing you could see the position of every switch and the such in.BestHolger KneibAs someone who provides tech support for a FS addon I would love it if I could get a black box style data dump of all the random button pushes and weird modes some users get themselves into.I can't count the number of times I have spent hours helping someone with what they think is a fault only to find they are loading the aircraft above MTOW departing with the FD off and wondering why the FMA looks weird, applying full manual rudder in turns etc etc.. -
litgeorge, would you be so nice and spend 5 minutes to write me a 101 how to do that without screwing up things and make this livery thereafter choosable in the free flight window. I tried your advice and the outcome was not to my liking to say the least.Best and thanks in AdvanceHolger KneibI made my own by just copying the texture folder from the WL repaint, and adding the corresponding entry to the aircraft.cfg, like we always did in past times. It's dirty, I know, but it worked :) -
Søren, thanks a lot, i checked through the Cranebank-737-section and i could not find anything related to the PMDG 737, only SID/STAR, no livery. Maybe i am a bit thick here, but if you could help me out i would highly appreciate it!BestHolger Kneib

Hi all,i am by no means whatsoever a painter but would love to fly this livery. Could one among you be so kind to make such a livery or is it something i can do myself?BestHolger Kneib

Hi all,i never found out what this button is good for, could one please shed some light here?BestHolger Kneib

Robert, fully comfortable with the approach and attitude you guys are showing, wish you all good progress. BTW, i went back from holidays and had exactly the same thing, no DSL, which costed me a full week in discussing things with my phone and internet company, so i know in all details what you suffered from. OK, i was really prepared for a lot of things but not for checking the oil level in a CFM!!Astonishing, very happy here and track-IR is also ordered!BestHolger Kneib

Hi,wish him a get well soon, having a daughter in school i know more than i ever wanted to know about those certain gifts!BestHolger KneibGuys,Robert has had a stomach flu for the last half of this week - he has a 4 year old daughter who brings these "gifts" for him home from preschool. We were planning an update for this weekend (we were going to try tonight even), but it's going to take a bit longer because he's still sick. If you don't believe me and really want to think we're purposefully saying we're going to have an update for you and then going back on it then I'm not sure what to say. We've posted FAR more updates on this airplane than we have for any past product already. There's something like 50+ screenshots between the threads we've had here and our Facebook page.
Active Sky 2016 and ASCA compatibility with PMDG 777

Hi all,
I just wanted to ask if the products mentioned are still compatible with the T7 and providing the same winds-downloading functionality as before? Especially ASCA looks amazing to me.
Thanks in advance!
