  1. Download the following files: hsp_fsp_all_in_one_1_of_2.zip hsp_fsp_all_in_one_2_of_2.zip from Avsim Extract the files. Look for the files of same or similar names in the folders of your current installation. Delete them. Install the new files carefully as per the readme. Run the install.bat file. Install the version of LGIR from the included folders. I hope this helps. I have just solved this same problem with my installation. Regards John
  2. The errors in the log relate to the format of the instrument approach segments being in the incorrect format in the original bgl files.I have found this also while changing the ap file for Geneva to stop AI aircraft going underground on the approach. The offending airport was in France. I have secceeded in solving the AI flight profile and recompiling the bgl.I use a process of splitting the opened file in half and compiling them separately to find which half is faulty. Use the faulty half, then try again and so on.The route segments for fs9 follow the format of actual FMS systems in their definition of the route segments. I found problems with the missed approach segments on the approaches. The definitions are not allowed in the FMS programming.I did download a PDF file a few years ago with all the definitions in. I printed it out so it will take me a while to find it on my back-up disks if anyone is interested.
  3. Fernando Mercato is working to solve the problem. For now:In your options menu=> display settings=> SceneryReduce your "terrain texture size:" to "medium".Alternatively make the "Scenery complexity" a maximum of "DENSE"This is a compromise both ways, but should make the scenery run more stable. The scenery will still crash with Scenery complexity set to Extremely Dense.John
  4. Look for halo.bmp in your main texture folder (fs9\texture)If it is not there and you need to replace it look for light fix packages in the file libraries.John
  5. I am running FS9 on Windows XP.Runway lights also disappeared.Search your texture folder for Halo.bmp.I only found Halo01.bmpNick Needham's light fix packages contain the halo.bmp new and original. This solved my problem.John Tennent
