April 8, 201214 yr Maybe someone can assist ? :unknw: I'm trying to solve the mesh issue around this airport. Fs2004, I'm using FSglobal 2010 with the HSP scenery.
April 8, 201214 yr It is not the definite solution but open your fs9.cfg, find the TERRAIN section and the TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21 line and change 21 into 19. This is what I do in case of some addon airports which otherwise would look similarly terrible. Unless you are able to edit the terrain yourself, the 19 vertex is the best solution. Unfortunately using addon meshes in FS9 sometimes causes conflicts with scenery, like ground tearing, airport plateaus, climbing waters or elevated lakes.

April 9, 201214 yr It didnt work, Maybe other suggestions ? Does anyone uses the scenery and it looks diffrent ? Yes I've got it and it's fine. But I haven't got FSGlobal, so there's maybe a conflict between the two. The LGIR scenery includes a custom coastline, which may be part of the problem. Worth looking at the HSP design team's fix suggestions here: http://www.avsim.com/greece/scenery/fs2004/fs9_base/HSP_BASE_Troubleshooting.zip or contacting them if that doesn't work.
April 11, 201214 yr Isnt there a "Base Scenery" that is necessary to make all the other sceneries work properly? I recall looking at their Greece but package but got put off by all the - apparent - extra complications.
April 12, 201214 yr Hi. It looks to me as though there's a flatten, built into the airport, that's at a different elevation to the mesh (probably to make the airport compatible with a different mesh, perhaps the stock). Is the shelf still there if you disable the airport? And then... is it still there if you have the airport re-enabled but disable FSGlobal and use only the stock mesh? Regards, D
April 12, 201214 yr Hi, Maybe you could download a dedicated mesh from here : http://www.avsim.com/greece/scenery/index_main.htm Rgds, Hugo
May 21, 201214 yr Download the following files: hsp_fsp_all_in_one_1_of_2.zip hsp_fsp_all_in_one_2_of_2.zip from Avsim Extract the files. Look for the files of same or similar names in the folders of your current installation. Delete them. Install the new files carefully as per the readme. Run the install.bat file. Install the version of LGIR from the included folders. I hope this helps. I have just solved this same problem with my installation. Regards John
