Hi All:I've seen that when you add, the Lee's TCAS System to the plane (No ISG nor other) I does not work, just show TCAS on the VSI.Having seen the Panel.Cfg for SP77basic and SP177basic, I saw that you can choose betwen mechanical VSI and TCAS, but the System gauge for it was just not added.A solution to It is add the nex line (ONLY IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE TCAS VARIATION OF THE BASIC PANEL AND UNDASSHED THE CORRECT LINES!!!)To the [Window00] Section at the endgauge67=ILH_TCAS!Logic, 0, 0, 1, 1This line do not add the specific Transponder Gauge to the radio panel, but make it work.Bob your Panel is Great, great job! Hi All:I am trying to make a gauge that gives my the Course of an ILS (or LLZ).I've tryed whit the NAV 1 LOCALIZER parameter which in the Parameters.doc on Panels SDK is descripted as "Localizer course heading"The idea is that when you select an ILS and it becomes alive, this gauge gives my the Course of the Localizer, for example on PHNL, for RW26L, I want the course of IEPC which is 314, so I could then star to make a gauge that auto set the OBS to the ILS Course.Here is my test code for the moment, I only get a 1 as a response, and I don't Know what could be wrong.%(A:NAV 1 LOCALIZER, degrees)%!s!Yes, it was done ona clock background just by now.Thanks a lot for your help.Helio Regalado

Hi All:I have been using the FSArquitec program, from pouksim, which now is free.(or donationware)It have an option to create Photo Texture Grid that alows to have a background imagen, as a ground texture, so if you have a satelite photo or an aereal photo you can put ir easily on FS as a pohotreal texture.But even when I have set the proper alpha channel for the file, (where I set full black to the area where I don't want the imagen replicated on the FS, light grey where I want a semitransparent area basically for the taxyways and runways, and full white for the areas where I want the photo to be shown fully.When I compile the scenery using SCASM (or even FreeSC) the photo texture for the airport show perfect, but the PAPI or the runway lights at night seem to be below the photo texture, or not on the same intensity that the one set, or even flicks when on aproach.I have tried to set the Photo Terrain Grid, in all the layers (1,2 4, 8, 24) posible, but I have no change.The Runway and the PAPI Lights are codified trought the AFCAD on a diferent BGL.I Copy now the SCASM Code for the textures, the BMPS are 16 bit whit alpha (no mipsmaps, 4444 format).; Generated by FS Architect; Version 4.1 build 02; Thursday August 30, 2007; Hand editing this file will not change the Architect document ; from which it was assembled. Hi:I did not take in advise that the code whas actualy the same (but as you said explained).My problem is that when landing in crosswinds I usualy forget (due to the workload) to disconect the A/TH before land, and that makes trouble becose I start to slow down,but A/TH (usualy Speed mode active) makes that engines run at full power to compensate that.Then I wanted to make a gauge that when the aircraft touch the ground auto-disconects the A/TH, and so, every speed active mode.At the present moment(thanks to your explanation and the examples codes given) I have change the logic of the gauge, in order just to disable at a certain Rad_Alt (A:RADIO_HEIGHT,foot) the Speed Mode (keeps A/TH armed just in Go-Arround Sceneryo)This is my code now: (A:RADIO_HEIGHT,foot) 51 < (A:AUTOPILOT_AIRSPEED_HOLD,bool) and if{ (>K:AP_PANEL_SPEED_HOLD) } Sadly It does not work (and don't know why)Thanks for your AnswersHelio Alberto Regalado Moreira

Hi Tom:The Idea of the gauge is that auto-arm/disarm the A/TH, in this logic:When take-off and pass 100 ft, auto-arm A/TH (later on I will select Speed o Mach -no auto TO/GA available).When Landing, if the plane touchdown (SIM on Ground) it dis-arms the A/TH (and whit that the Speed mode selected disconets).An option that I have been thinking is to replace the SIM_ON_GROUND event, whit something like Rad_Alt is less than 50ft auto-disarm the A/TH.

Hi:I have edite a LWM for 2 airports on peru, in order to make these lines to desapear.My proyect is to adjust the position and altitude of some aiports in Peru.When editing i found that when i created a LWM in Ground2k4 over a default LWM Poly it did not adjusted the altitude of the other.So useing LWMViewer 2 i changed the altitude of that to mesh-cling and saved the source which latter I recompiled whit BGLcomp.Whe seeing those airports the file was Ok, but on the other airports of the FLxxxxx.bgl, seamed no to be active for the FS, inded was like all the other Flatens in that file where set to mesh-cling, making that some runways float over the air.Am I doing anything wrong?What is the procedure to edit (whit LWMViewer 2 o LWMViewer1) the defauls Flattens?Thanks a lot for your answers

Hi Arno:I found that to FSSC (or SCASM i guess) doesnt cares the layer if you overlaped to taxiways, and then make the rounded part whit poligons, so what I finally done was to delete de asphalt taxiways and put in reemplacement a poligone whit asphalt texture, and of course seting a lower layer than the concrete ones.Haveing done that the problem was workaround, and now it shows as should be, whit the asphalt as a bottom, and the concrete (whit the rounded connections) up of the asphalt (where needed).What also called my attention is the fact that the concrete textures for the poligons are much more brighter than the ones for the taxiways, even when they use the same texture file, is that normal?Anyway, whit your help the problem was solved, and now the scenery shows as should be, and also learned something new.Thanks a lot, your help is really aprreciated.Helio Alberto Regalado Moreira

How is that?I have the taxiways and polygons of asphalt which layer is set as no LayeringThe poligons for the concrete and the concrete taxiways as layer 16 (road/taxyway).But when I complile some times it shows the concrete over (only the taxiways not the poligons) the asphalt, and the most of the times, It shows the asphalt over the concrete (the concrete doesnt show at all).What you tell my is to asign diferents layers, of so how should I assign the (which numbers)?The layerings are:No Layering.4 Mesh8 Poligon12 River16 road/taxiway20 Line24 runway28 Mountain32 Crater40 Ground Element60 ShadowIf so (if not I wthink I have to modify the layer by hand on the scn file) what layers numbers should I apply?This time I have attached the SCN (in plain text format), becose it does not show as I wanted to be shown, and also becose whit the SCN file you can help my a lot more.Thanks for your reply, and Help

Hi I wanted to know if is possible to overlap taxyways in FSSC and hoy to make it workThe whole idea is to have taxyways of 2 materiales, (for the borders asphalt and for the "center" concrete.What I've done is to draw first an taxyway of afphalt and latter on an taxyway (much smaller) of concrete, on the FSSC it shows as it should be, but on the FS there is no result, as the asphalt will show only (not the concrete in the center.I've attached an image of FSSC to let you know my idea.The scenery will be SPIM, Jorge Chavez Int in peru.Thanks for your help!!Helio Alberto Regalado Moreira
