I get that too at 8x AA, also if I go into windowed mode the aircraft appears again. If I have 4x or less AA the aircraft appears again in Full Screen.I have an nVidia GeForce 6600 GT PCIE card.I believe its an issue with nvidia drivers and I do not think there is a solution.I am running the latest 81.98 drivers and they did not cure the problem for me. I just switch from full screen to window and back again.RegardsGarry

Perfect, you got it.I moved one of my PCI cards to another slot which gave the fan more space and the idle temp went from 77 to 52.I ran FS and it went like a dream 8xS AA, no crashes, and if I don't use Full screen mode I even get the aircraft back in the select aircraft scren window.Thanks Allcott, if it had not been for you I would not have realised that my card was running too hot, you solved my problem !Thanks a lotGarry

I have struggled through this for a few days now, tweaking settings etc but to no avail, it's time to ask for help !I have a BFG GeForce 6600GT OC on my home PC running FS9.1 and whenever I set anti aliasing to 8xS (the max it will allow) I eventually get my system to either crash completely or go into a re-boot.It happens at different points, sometimes during taxi, during take off roll, cruise or on approach, happens every time, no matter what aircraft, airport or region of the World.I have tried changing as many display options as I can think of but the result is always the same.Another anomoly at 8xS is the aircraft does not appear in the FS menu window.Whenever I lower the AA settings it all runs flawlessly and the aircraft appears again in the window.I was using the latest NVIDIA drivers (81.98 I think - the ones released on 21 Dec 2005) and I tried going back and using the 78.01 drivers but this did not solve the problem either.I've run out of ideas, does anyone have any suggestions?System specsIntel P4 3.0GHz HT2 GB PC4200 DDR2 SDRAMBFG GeFroce 6600GT OCSoundblaster Audigy 2ZSWin XP Media Center SP2FS9.1 (patched)Edit:Forgot to say also I have flashing textures occassionally, but always at night, whenever I turn the lights on. If anyone can help with this too that would be great !Also, not sure whether it is related or not, but sometimes when using IE or notepad I get strange lines across the screen, starting on the right hand edge of the screen, if I select all text then the lines disappear. It does not happen often but its annoying when it does. I have tried my monitor on another PC and it has not had this lines problem yet after 3 days, so I'm not sure it is the monitor now?????Thanks for any helpGarry

Thanks, already checked that, the Aerosoft AFCAD is the only one for EDDF I have, but I will check out that program to look for any others.And I was hoping a system restore might undo the damage too but I tried that last night and it did not work either much to my annoyance !Thanks for the adviceGarry

Hi all, I really need some assistance with my FS which has run out of control. I have never had a CTD or any issues with FS9.1 until I installed the Aerosoft EDDF scenery yesterday (I have posted there looking for support - I also hope that the great knowledge that exists here might be able to help too) During my first flight while taxiing an error message came up on the screen for a second or two with something about memory allocation error and FS did the dreaded CTD. Every time after I flew out of EDDF I got a CTD at different points, sometimes during pushback, sometimes during taxi sometimes on climbout and another on final. I tried uninstalling EDDF but the problem did not go away and now it affects anywhere I fly in Europe. If I set the departure airport from the FS main screen to an airport outside Europe it loads OK and I have not noticed any CTD issues during flight. But if I load up a flight starting in Europe I get CTD's all the time. Mostly during the loading, it gets to 71% Adjusting scenery objects and then CTD. Sometimes it loads fine and I get a CTD in flight or on the ground. I tried re-installing EDDF but still the problems are there. Scenery wise I am running FS Genesis mesh, and I have the UK VFR Photo scenery, as well as a few payware and freeware airports. I also have a large collection of AI traffic BGL's and Ultimate Traffic installed. Does anyone have any ideas as I have spent a long time getting my FS to run just right and I am dreading the thought of having to re-install. Thanks Garry

Hi,Sorry to ask what is probably a daft question..........I ordered my PMDG 737NG last night and have it up and running just fine (Thanks for the amazing product).Does the version I have already come with SU2 or do I have to add SU2 in addition?If so how do I get it, because when I try to get to the Service Updates section on the website I get a page unavailable screen?Also in the OIC it mentions something about being emailed to get the SU2, do I have to wait for that to come first?Thanks in advanceGarry
