Where is this Database Package?

Thank you! Very excited to try this out when I get home. I found Bernt Stolle's corrected handling CFG and AIR file in the library, I'm wonder if you've seen that and used it via merging or just using your own mod?

On 11/24/2018 at 2:50 AM, Flysimware said:Our custom rain effect works for all sim. Why would i want to use this version which only is for P3D V4? And its another DLL which we already use too many. is there a big difference?
It would be great if it was an option... please consider it. Visually, yes there is a large difference.

I asked a friend who is based there, she says that it was a ramp agent, not a mechanic.

I absolutely love the Flysimware LJ35... highly recommended! With the GTN750, it's a complete suite.

Yep, I'd reckon it has to do with atmospheric conditions as well... denser air, less dense air, etc... cool!

I don't think I've ever felt a pitching down moment from the 74...in fact if anything I've had to force the nose down once your get in ground affect. Honestly the 74 is a lot easier than those stubby wing 73s and MD-80s.
Indeed, I've got quite a few hours in a Level-D 744 sim thanks to come airline connections and I never felt that it wanted to pitch down... forcing the nose down was always a common occurrence.

May i just ask what is that bar on the dashboard for? what is it called?
PVD.... Para Visual Display

ACARS is currently not modeled in the aircraft.

No worries, enjoy flying her!

Cold beer must certainly be an option... imagine the spray off the nose of the can as it is opened.

Known issue, only way to stop it until it is fixed would be to disable labels completely.

And this one: http://www.avsim.com/topic/503360-initech-tps-awesome/
Not a lot of Office Space fans I guess.....
I'm uhhhh... also gonna need you to come in on Sunday...

I mentioned this one day after release and no one seemed to care  :

Haha, good find! Those'll make walkarounds easier.

...but there are a few easter eggs that aren't mentioned in the Intro at all. All the same...shameless plug for the Intro. It's a little disheartening to hear people find these things surprising when we've gone through a decent amount of work to make sure they're documented. I do understand people aren't the biggest fans of reading, however (but there are pictures in the Intro too!).
Oh I completely understand, I browsed through all 165 pages the night I got her... but you know, some people.... : :He He:

I thought it was be a good idea to start a post where we can list features or easter eggs we have found in the 747!
I was talking to a friend of mine who had no idea that you can middle-click on any of the landing light switches to move them all at the same time... that has been around since the 777 and he still had no idea!
Another didn't know about the autothrottle click spot on the MCP, and the fact that it has 3 different functions.
I remember Robert mentioned in this article: http://www.avsim.com/topic/495787-01oct16-pmdg-747-400-queen-of-the-skies-ii-is-moving-to-beta-testing/
I wonder what that surprise is!
So if you have found something cool, neat, what have you... post it here, you might have discovered something no one else found!

Reminds me of when Dreamfleet brought out their 177 Cardinal; and everyone said the wings were wrong, because they were flat out from the cockpit, with no dihedral like a 172 or 182. They got tired of the complaining, so they "fixed" it to be "right" even though it was wrong.
This is certainly a different scenario.

One of the items I want to look at is the mass distribution of fuel along the spar to see if too much weight is too far out on the wing. That would certainly cause the spar to flex much further than it should.
That would definitely explain part of it, the other part being that even emptied of all fuel it is flexed further than it should be... thanks for looking in to it Robert.

Got the update, loading cold and dark, no situations... and this is happening in the air, I've been handflying it only for a while but today wanted to try the AP.
Once I land I'm going to throw it through the tutorial and see if it does the same thing.

I'm having uncommanded right turns as well... trims all neutral, doing it by the book.

Welcome to the forum. This is the correct action for this issue. The first installer had a small error in it.
Perhaps a sticky thread up top for fixes/patches would be good... seems the news got around on social media about how to fix the issue, but no word per se from an official source.
Would probably reduce some of the support tickets too!
