Ok I flew KSTL to KMCI. Everything went as planned. Autopilot no problem. Below I've posted a snapshot of My Task manager. Hope I've got the shot you'll like. Also about halfway through the flight I got a warning something had failed and if I wanted to continue or exit. I chose to continue. I still heard ATC transmissions but could not transmit to them. I didn't think to get a picture of the warning. Next time I will. Will Unable to paste Picture of Task Manager. Ok here are the readings; CPU usage..17% Memory...4.43 GB. Hope this helps. Harry

Hi Dave; I will try the Task Manager later today. I am using Wn 7, FltSim is FSX, Aircraft is Beechcraft King Air 350. It is a stock A/C. 3rd time using it. No problems before. Was using Beech Baron 58 with no problems. I will review how to use Task Manger then give it a try. Thanks for you help. I'll keep you posted Harry

Everytime I click on autopilot the main P2ATC screen turns white and a msg at the top says "Not Responding". I can fly without the P2ATC Autopilot and just use the A/C Autopilot but I would rather use P2ATC's Autopilot. This is the only Bug I can see. I hope I gave enough info Harry

Hi Dave: I flew the same flt out of KENL as before but with V20012. Nothing changed. I still got my clearance on the ground but when I tried to get a clearance release no response. So I took off and attempted to contact ATC in the air. They told me, again, that my Flight PLan had expired and to file a new one. After that, everything when great. I had installed new scenery for KSTL with the new RWY !!/29. Piece of cake. Learning as I go. Thanks for all your help. I'll keep you posted as I go along. Everytime I fly with your software I learn something new. Thanks Again Harry

Hi Dave: Success. But let me explain. Everything went routine as I explained in the previous post up until I was ready for T/O. I tried to call for clearance release but couldn't quencycontact ATC. They kept saying "Check Frequency". After several attempts I decided to T/O and contact Cntr in the air. When I was climbing and heading toward ENL VOR I was able to contact cntr but they said my fltplan had expired and to refile a new fltplan. I did and everything was routine from that point on. Except for STL Approach trying to clear me for an ILS to RWY 29 which does not exist in my data bank but is a real rwy at KSTL. Do know anyway I can update my FSX Scenery to show Runway 29?? I tried to request and approach to rwy 30L but each time they refused. Other than that the flt went fine. I'm still checking for the 20012 update. Thanks for helping Harry

Hi Dave; I did try it with some success with 200.11. I contacted OIHS?KC Ctr on 127.7 and was given Clrnc but no other assigned freq. Just told to contact cntr when ready to taxi on 127.7. Couldn't get beyond that point. I see 20012 isn't ready for download yet. I'll keep plugging away with 200.11 until 20012 is ready for download. ​BTW even though a lot of trial and error I am learning a lot getting back in the swing of things. Your software program is great. Makes me think. Can't say enough about Pilot2ATC. It's great. Thanks for all your efforts. Very satisfied customer. Harry

I have been having trouble getting IFR clearance when I operate out of a uncontrolled airport. To be specific KENL. Centralia Ill. When I try to call MKC Center I get no reply. In real life you can Phone call FSS and get a void time. Or you can call when off the ground and file that way. I have tried also to file once I'l off the ground but I get no response. I downloaded Pilot2ATC update version 20011. When I fly out of a controlled airport everything operates ok. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Harry

The solution to this topic is probably very simple so I apologize in advance. The Multi-Function Display screen and also the A/P screen keeps wanting to go full screen when trying to move them. I can resize it and it will stay that way until I try to move it to say another part of the screen. It will then fill the whole computer screen. I then have to resize it. Very annoying. Is there a setting, on both the Multi-Function Display screen and the Autopilot screen, that will stop it from going full screen when trying to move them?? Thanks in advance. Harry

Hi Noel; Thanks for your reply. I noticed that V200.8 is now up for downloading. I have been using 200.1. My Bad. I should be checking the download page more often. I might have solved my own problems. Right before I read your post I checked the forum at Aerosors.freeforums.net and found that others were having problems also. Hi Noel; Thank you for your reply. Before I read your post I tried your suggestion on the toggle switch set to GPS and the NAV Button on the autopilot pressed in. Everything seemed to work fine I followed the LEGS with basically no problems. Like you I too have been flying PMDG aircraft. The 777. By flying the Baron I was wanting to start from ground zero and progress up to the 777. I think I might have made a mistake in updating my NAV file. I Read the Pinned Flight Plans (Importing and exporting) V2. They recommended going to a site http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html that provides updated information in the .bgl file format that you can keep your P3D or FSX installation up to date with. I downloaded and ran the update. I didn’t realize that I should have backed up my files. Now Some waypoints are missing at some airports with RNAV approaches. For instance at Centralia ,Ill KENL I tried to load an Rnav approach for RWY 36 but all it would do is take me straight in off of the Centralia VOR, (ENL). I tried several other airports in the US with the same result. I’m going to contact http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html and see if they can help undoing the upgrade. If you have any suggestions let me know. I would appreciate it. Also I’m still having problems importing my flight plan that I built in Pilot2ATC and saved with the .PLN format with the SIDs and Stars. I’ll keep working on it. Thanks again. Harry Hi Dave; I did that with no success. The Sids and Star waypionts will not come in with the FltPln. .PLN Format. Also when I try to load it into the FSX Flight PLanner it will not load. I still have to manually construct it in the FSX Flight Planner in order to use it in FSX. If you will pls check my reply to Noels post with my further problems. To lengthy to repeat here. Well I do have partial success. I can save flight plans in the.PLN format. And I can load them into the FSX Flight planner however it does not load the Sids or the STARS. Everything else is visible. Here is another problem, The Autopilot does not follow the route even with the Nav button pushed. The route shows in the Garmin 500 but the autopilot does not follow the legs of the route. I will keep trying. Eventually I'll figure it out. Harry PS As a side note I'll try to build the route completely separate in the FSX Flight Planner to match the Flight Plan that P2ATC built and see if the Autopilot will follow that one. I will post my findings later. Harry

I got a Database error msg. "Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed on Open. An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Pilot2ATC_200\Pilot2ATC_200\Data\P2ADynamicData.mdf failed. A Database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share." Any idea how to correct this?

OK let me try to explain what's happening. I watched the video that clive suggested. I have seen it before and it is very good. But didn't address my problem. I also read the Pinned topic in the forum about flight plans to (import and exporting) V2. I went to http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html and updated my Nav files. That didn't help. When I build a flight plan in P2A and try to save it it will only save it in the .vbf format. If I use the import function of P2A and bring in a .PLN format. The FSX Flt Planner will not accept it. (Won’t load it.) So what I am having to do is to open the Flight Planner in FSX and manually construct the identical flight plan that I constructed in P2A and save it. Also the waypoints that are in P2A are not in FSX Plight Planner. So I’m guessing at their placement. Then I can load it into FSX FlightPlanner so that the A/P can fly the route. I know that’s not how it’s suppose to be, but that’s the only way I can get it to work. The other way would be to manually flight the route without the Autopilot. Or using the Autopilots heading alone. Changing it at each leg to follow it. Keeps me on my toes. Anyway I’m not doing something right. Eventually I’ll find the answer with your help. Hi Dave I am using FSX. I don't have x-Plane. I have racked my brain trying to figure out how to load it into the Garmin 500 that the Baron uses. I don't see an option for loading Sids or Stars for that GPS. I could probably manually construct a sid in the FSX Flight Planner by editing the Flight Plan, but I don't see the Waypoints on the FSX map for the SID I want to use. I must be overlooking something very simple. Also I notice that the file extensions are not the Same. P2A uses .VBF and FSX uses .PLN. Again any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the inconvenience. Harry

I'm sure it's me that's the problem. When I engage the A/P after takeoff the autopilot doesn't follow the routes in the Fltpln. Even when I engage the Nav button on the A/P. I have to manually fly the fltPln with the A/P by putting in the headings to follow the legs of the route.. I am probably overlooking something. I am using the Beech Baron to fly and get familiar with Pilot2ATC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Harry

I am a new user: First off I love this new software. After use Radar Contact for years, which still very good, Pilot2ATC is the new generation. So far everything is perfect. I was wondering if it is compatible with PMDG 777-200? Has anyone tried it out yet? It would very interesting to hear everyone's comments. Keep up the good work. Thank you all in advance. Harry

Hi New user; I am currently using the Demo version. Everything seems to work ok. My only concern is that it keeps pausing when I fly the A/C and want to use the Radio or do something in the Pilot2ATC screen. For instance while flying if I get a clearance or anything else and I want to respond and click into the Pilot2ATC panel it will pause the flight until I finish the conversation.Then I have to click outside the Panel and press the "P" to unpause the flight sim. I'm thinking it must be a setting somewhere. BTW the Connect button is in the on position. Thanks in advance. Harry
