  1. not after, but before the PMDG B777 a PMDG B747 up to NGX standards! Not sure but I think it would be much easier for them to redo the B747 since they are half-way there with all the source code for the current 747X.
  2. Still having the same problem as well during the climbing phase even after trying all FSUPIC/ASE set-ups I found on this and other forums. Sometimes it seems that only 1-2 knots or degrees of wind change is enough to make the NGX oscillate up and down.
  3. I don't think Captain Jack Sparrow Inc. will be very helpful there. :(
  4. I second both of those requests. I've found the same problems as well.
  5. Hi Dan, yes I have turbulence turned off and have FSUIPC set to change the wind at 1deg/knot each 5-10 sec or so. Still the pitch mode can't keep up with the wind shift when I'm climbing through strong wind layers. Many times the speed keeps going down until the plane enters the low-speed protection mode. I could set FSUIPC to change slowly change winds each 20+sec. but that's not very realistic, I might as well fly with no winds at all. Not to mention when you come for landing and there's a moderate wind shift at 4000-3000 ft above the airfield, the wind will still be slowly changing to the reported surface wind, as I have experienced a couple of times. I hope PMDG can fix this problem with the next patch and give more realism to our flights! :(
  6. Here's a couple of suggestions that I think would make a few people happy :( if they were implemented with the next patch.- Better handling of wind shifts (even with FSUIPC's "wind smooth" on)- Take-off trim settings (I believe this issue is being addressed) Does anybody have any more suggestions to add to the list?
  7. That worked for me as well! I also noticed that when you have a lower ZFWCG in the MD11F version (even though you're still within the allowed range) the trim settings and take-off pitch feel a little "exaggerated" after rotation, but with higher ZFWCG the rotation and climb out is much stable -- using the same fuel quantity and flap settings. So in the Load Manager I always use full load and de-select the two containers in the front row and get a ZFWCG of about 24-25.

thanks! :(Is there any way to find out what Cost Indexes these companies use for their routes?
  9. The same thing is happening with me. If I don't pitch the nose down after rotation, it'll keep pitching up until the low speed protection is activated. Hopefully there'll be a patch soon.
  10. Hello, I have a few questions about the MD-11, FS9 version:1 - In FS9's effects folder the MD11 installs a bunch of effects files like:fx_PMDG_MD11_apu_fire.fxfx_PMDG_MD11_flapvortex.fxfx_PMDG_MD11_fuel_dump.fxfx_PMDG_MD11_engine_fire.fxetc... but I haven't seen any of these actually working. I set up the failures menu to simulate engine and apu fires, and did some fuel dumping but didn't see any visual effect. Am I doing something wrong?2 - What are the differences between the normal and "b" .mdl models? (eg. Model.GE vs. Model.GEb)3 - If I need to come back to the airport of origin a few minutes after take-off, what's the right way to set up the FMS for landing? Thanks for any help! :(
  11. Hello, Does anyone know where can I get this train in FS9? Is it an addon? http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b337/lulupaca/t2.jpghttp://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b337/lulupaca/t1.jpg The images are from a video on youtube, I won't post it bc of copyright stuff. Thanks!
