  1. Well done Dirk! I've done a flight and the voices worked fine. I've set them up as Random Voices in Pilot2ATC. Now I need to nail down the intermittent Flightsim CTD's.... Have fun!
  2. It works! I had Polly player open in the background. After closing it, the voices played in Pilot2ATC
  3. Thanks for the pointer to Polly Mark. I've successfully set up Polly voices in windows. Can hear them when testing etc. Unfortunately they do not play when I add and test them in Pilot2ATC. Looking forward to other peoples findings Regards, G
  4. Thank you for your effort with TileProxy Christian!!Now I can't help wondering about the t-shirt.. Does it say "I probed Google and all I got was this lousy T-shirt"? ;)Looking forward to your future creations...Regards,Gerhard
  5. Hello Geoff,I found use a utility called Indievolume to control the sound. Have a look over here http://indievolume.com/Regards,Gerhard
  6. Humor us Bob,I for one would like to know a bit about 2008!Regards,Gerhard
  7. Vic,I'm using a utility called IndieVolume. It handles volumes per application basis. If one has more than one sound card one can assign the card you want the application to sound on. Here's the link. http://indievolume.com/Regards,Gerhard
  8. Fsbuild over at http://fsbuild.com/ It has served me well for a couple of years now.Regards,Gerhard
  9. Hello Jim and Bill. Yes, I also think this would be a good idea. Subforums like Bryan has in the FS2Crew forum. Regards,Gerhard
  10. Thank you Bud,It certainly shows the "flavour of the process" and convinced me to get GC or a equivalent program going. Again I want to thank you for sharing this information with us!Regards,Gerhard
  11. Very interesting indeed,Is it possible to share the Game Commander profiles amongst users, or any other speech program profiles for that matter? This would help a lot of users if it would be possible.Regards,Gerhard
  12. Sorry to hear your problem is not solved. I suppose it could be a matter of different systems, different settings in order get the best results.Regards,Gerhard
  13. I get good results with the following:[DISPLAY]UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=22TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=55[TERRAIN]TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=100.000000TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=10.000000TERRAIN_MAX_DEM_AREA=100.000000TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=20TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8TERRAIN_AUTOGEN_DENSITY=5TERRAIN_USE_GRADIENT_MAP=1TERRAIN_EXTENDED_TEXTURES=1TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=4TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=4TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=4Holger and Scott pointed me to the testing done by Joachim Buhre. Here's the thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...30282&mode=fullAfter reading Joachim tests, I set the settings I've posted above. Interesting find is that bringing the TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT down actually showed much sharper and more detailed textures in the sim. As each system is different I suggest you set the settings above and then play with TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT to find which setting gives you best results on your system. Before this I used to apply the TextureMaxLoad=10. I've now decided that it does not add to my system if I use the settings shown above. After extensive testing on my system, I've asked two of my friends to test these settings. They both agreed that these give better results. Please let us know how things go.Regards,Gerhard
  14. Thank you for replying Holger, I'll examine pages 299-304 and have a good look on the graphs.Regards,Gerhard
