For some strange reason when the weather is loaded the GS and TAS are reading when my plane is parked and not moving. Earlier today I was getting a TAS and IAS of 17knots when my plane wasn't even moving. This screwed up my landing today as well, any help appreciated.

Dillon are you running your Windows 7 OS in XP more or normal mode. I am getting ready to purchase Windows 7 and wondering which version to buy. Home, Premium, or Ultimate. I already know I need 64BIT.

First time I've ever had an install error when trying to install my PMDG 737NG. Should I reinstall my FS, really hope I don't have to do that, or should I try to get another download.

The L1011 INS isn't clickable, Ive had this bird for a while but never used the INS to navigate. I'm going to do my first trans pacific flight tomorrow but I will need the INS to navigate. Anyone else having this issue.

ahh i figured that, I just updated my fsnav and wilco and LDS now its time for PMDG, thanks.

does anyone have a problem with the newly added runway 10 at KATL, with there PMDG 737 or 747. I have installed both the www.planepath.com cycle 0706 and the additional one from avsim by Dan Downs. when i input KATL into the FMS i get "error runway 10 known" and theres no runway data or sid/star's.

It is perfectly normal to enter a waypoint of that nature. The FMS in a real 747 can hold a waypoint of more than 6 characters. How do you think they enter PACOTS and NATA's. So that should answer your question.

KATL is completely missing from my pmdg nav database. I looked in the folder and KATl is there but when I try and file a FP in the FMS it says "error runway 10 unknown" ??oops my fault I see KATL has added another runwawy, rwy 10 didn't even know :-0

OH YES, here at avsim theres awesome sounds for B777 and B757. I personally use sounds from here rather than the PSS sounds. In fact I use the 777 GE 90 sounds from Devyn Silverstein. Heres the link if you want it http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...snds&DLID=74526I also use sounds for my 747 and 737 from avsim also, there awesome. Since the pmdg 747 uses the same sounds for the PW, GE and RR engines I use 3 different sound sets for each plane. Just search the FS2004 sounds and you'll find 744 PW GE and RR sounds. In fact there's a PMDG 737 sound set in the fs2004 sounds page.

sure is, check this out www.vatsim.net and www.squawkbox.ca You need to join vatsim then use squawkbox aka SB 3.1 with FS. I could never go back to AI ATC again.

I am having the same problem, with the airport KSEA. No runways or SID's/STAR's, I downloaded all the latest 0611 airacs from www.planepath.com and SID/STAR's from www.navdata.at but still KSEA has no runways or sid/star.

thats what your not supposed to do, the pmdg products all have the cold dark flights you select from fs start menu. Ed, please reinstall you pmdg 737 ng-89 series starting with the NG first, 800/900 second. If you have the pmdg744 thats 3rd. Dont forget including all service updates. This happened to me before, its just a small bug that is easily termnated after reinstallation. But you make sure to completely remove the entire pmdg 737 NG-8/9 and all files. The PMDG removle tool is at the site here. FSUIPC 3.7.1 im sure is not the problem you need that its good tool.

hi there, I have been having similiar issues with the pmdg 744 using multiple monitors. i currently have a 2 MM config 1 for windows and the other for the panel. I now fly using VC only even with the MM config because VC makes flying 100 times more real and i could never fly with out again. But with the pmdg 744 when i switch to the VC the frames drop to 5 just like yours. hope we get a solution to the problem. I would also like to know do you use the triple-head-to-go item.

i was flying from EGLL to KSFO and for some unknown reason the CRT screens froze and the plane was turning off course. Then i disengaged the AP and the plane started doing a barrel roll. Then i was finally able to regain control but i dont want this to ever happen again whats the problem with this?

i reinstalled my pmdg 744 and 737 NG-89 and the pmdg 737 89 is still version 1.0 and also the 744 is still version 1.0 whats wrong why arent the service updates working. the pmdg 744 doesnt dislpay the CRT screens when powering up either. i even used the FLT file from smithplanet.com and still the 744 isnt working. the 737 89 workd fine but it still shows verison 1.0

i re installed my fs again and now my pmdg 737 89 wont update to version 1.1 I ran the temp update and the service upadate that updates it to ver 1.1 but it still says version 1.0 in the aircraft cgf. My current pmdg 737 89 exe says V1-1 so that maens version 1.1, right.

yeah i see what your loooking for. im not that familiar with project magenta, when i get FS wide then i can test it with the demo. since you own project magenta just what type of aircraft are used with it?

Hi, I am building a home made cockpit myself, and will be using project magenta software also. My hardware will be from www.goflightinc.com, but project magenta software is not any anyway compatible with PMDG software. Its a seperate program that runs for home made cockpits. You will have to choose between PMDG software, or project magenta. Since your making a 747 home cockpit, mines will be universal for all types of aircrafts, you should take into consideration however project magenta just offers guages and CDU's only, where as PMDG 744 is a complete aircraft with full moving outside parts and textures. Hope i covered everything.

at the pmdg site theres no update pmdg 737 800/900 from 1.0 -1.1 Whats up with this? Where can i update my pmdg 737 8-9 to 1.1, its still version 1.0.

my pmdg 744 has missing SID STAR at RJAA, where can i download the latest nav data. its not at the PMDG web site anymore ?
