  1. Also if you have your Red Beacon Light On if I remember correctly only the main door will open at least at the beginning of the flight maybe I'm wrong about this didn't have anybody to confirm this with me but that was my problem with the doors. Red beacon has to be OFF hope this works for you.
  2. I am pretty sure that your RED Anti-collision(beacon) light must be OFF for doors 2 3 and 4 to open. Just a thought. Ron
  3. Thanks Dave for your answers and I will read the manual again lol!
  4. Thank you very much Dave for your reply and excellent explanation. That's exactly what I have the 6112 and 6122 also 192.168.xxx.xxx. 1. Reserve an Ip address: In the router manual I guess that's what they mean when they mention to Statically Assign an IP address? 2. Also I just found in the Network and Sharing center inside the Wireless Network Connection Properties: There is a box that you can check that says: Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection. I wonder if this would allow my friend to connect to my computer? 3. My other option is simply disconnect the router from the computer and connect the modem back to the computer when I am flying with my friend. I suppose this would create a new IP each time not sure about that. Also would this cause any problem to the router settings when I reconnect it to the computer. If you can Dave or anybody else answer these questions that would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hello I have been hosting my friend and he has been using my IP thru LAN connection no problems for couple of years. I only had a modem connected to the computer. Now I recently added a router. So I have Cable to Modem Modem to Router Router to Computer connections. My friend is unable to connect with my IP that is listed in the Network Connection Details IPv4 IP Address. Like I was using before. By the way I am on Vista Home premium 64. How can the connection to my computer by my friend be done while I am using the router if possible or do I have unplug the router from the computer and just plug the modem straight to the computer? I hope I make sense not very good with all this stuff. Thanks in advance for your help.
  6. I found out that when I am not logged in on avsim that the speed is very slow but once logged in the speed is back to normal. Don't know maybe just a coincidence?
  7. Sorry if you see my reply twice but I didn't see my first reply being posted. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong not use posting on forum. AS I said in my first reply I had the same problem with my doors and I found out by trying different ways that when I have the ACOL light in the Red(beacon) position the cargo and service doors don't work only the main door works. When the ACOL light is OFF or White all the doors works normally. At least that's the way it is for me don't know if this will help you but that's something to try.
