The demo was a only 2 islands, no planes traffic, animals.. nothing at all and it was still slow... maybe something is wrong with fsx? i still think it doesn't have nothing new and it's just the same old fs with a retouched graphic... maybe after all this years we need something new and not the same old things...Alberto

Hi all, it's just an idea, why don't ask the ACES about dropping backward compatibility with fs-addons and start in the next version (i hope we will have it...) a new sim with better support for dual/quad (or wathever core will be..) CPU, GPU, SLI and whatelse... how many here would go and buy it also if no backward compatibility will be with the addons we have? I have been reading that backward compatibility is the reason that make fs looks obsolete.. it's just my thought, maybe i'm wrong but let them know also what we think about it..Alberto

  7. Just downloaded the demo, tried it and it's fantastic... thanks Mike and all the guys at ACES, you did a great job! I'm a CRJ fan and noticed a very small thing on the model.. a bracket that is visible from the outside right front gear door. Can please fix this in the final version? :(

  13. In this case then we will not see a plane lighted by another plane.. then still dark planes at gates? by the way... how are you sure of that?Alberto

  15. those are effects with bitmap. What i mean is a "shader effect" of the new graphic cards.. it is a distortion of the graphic, much different from a simple effect with a bitmap...Alberto
  16. Would it be nice if implemented in this new version of fsx?:-) I think with the new gpu it will be not difficult to have... no?
