Hi there, I

REX 2,0, TrackIR 5 and PMDG aircraft, what a joy!
Hello, I just purchased REX 2,0, have now used it for a couples of days together with Track IR 5 and the PMDG MD11, 744 X and the JS41. I must say that this combination is awesome! To peek out trough the VC just turning my head and see the wintery Swedish skies, that's a complete new level of flying. I totaly recomend it!Running FSX with my 3 yr old rig with stable 25-30 FPS is not bad! Having had this hobby for almost twenty years starting with FS 4.0, it's amazing to see the the level of reality that's possible today. I'm soo looking forward to the new product line, so that I can continue my hobby for long time to come!

Out of memory when using the MD11 FSX
Hello, I recently re-installed Vista on my computer. Now I have a problem; when using the MD11, FSX freezes after 2-3 min, pushing the windows button there is a propt screen saying "your computer has run out of availible memory" please re-start the application, then FSX shuts down. Has anybody else experienced this? Is there a solution? Im having a high end computer with 4GB RAM, that should be sufficient? Using FSX Acceleration SP2.Best regardsJohan Helgesson

Out of memory 747X, with an high end computer!
Hello, I have a slight problem, I bought a new high end computer to be able to play the 747X with good framerates. However, I get a serious problem, whenever I fly the 747X with a more CPU intense scenario, FSX crashes and I get a warning message saying "your computer has run out of availible memory". This is very strange due to the fact that I run a;Intel core2 DUO 3,2 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB and Windows Vista. Is there a know memory leak issue? Has anybody else than me come across this issue with an high end computer? Thanks in advanceBest regardsJohan

400X Timeline is shaping up, FINALLY!
Robert,>>Have you concider any new effects? like realistic spray from>>engines when wet runway, heat effect, vapor on wings upon>takeoff ect. Wonderful news! Really looking forward to incorporate the Queen FSX into my vitual fleet... >We have added a number of new effects, including water>vortexes trailing from the flaps and wingtips during wet>conditions....>>Whether the oleo struts compress one time, or many depends as>much on the skill of the pilot as anything. (For example- no>airplane I have ever piloted required more than one>compression stroke on the oleo struts. :-p No really....>honest... :-p )I think that my sometimes not perfect English confused you a bit. Of course the struts dont fully compress several times, however on for ex. the 737 when I have watched some clips the struts compress nearly fully on time, then sway less and less for say 2-3 times, this during a 1-1.5 second duration. This is what I ment by the feeling of weight, when I look at the videos I can really see that the 737 weighs 70 tonnes upon touchdown. This is what I feel is missing in flight simulation in general. Is it hard to develop this kind of sense of weight. I wouldnt call it ground effect but, I think you

400X Timeline is shaping up, FINALLY!
Hello, Wonderful that the Queen is nearing release. I have been following the development and posts around this forum for a long time. I must give cred to the PMDG team for sticking with their policies. I work in a large automotive company, and I can tell you, we never give any hints to anybody regarding things that can have a negative business impact. I have two question though, many folks around here are system and process oriented. But you eat with both eye and mouth. Have you concider any new effects? like realistic spray from engines when wet runway, heat effect, vapor on wings upon take off ect. Second, one of the things with flight sim that I find most urealisic is the apperance of the aircraft regarding to weight, the default 737 looks like it weighs as much like a paper plane. In real life the shock absorbers sway more than one time upon landing. I miss the feel of the plane shaking and cracking during taxi. The feel that the 747-400 for example really weighs 400 tonnes. Is this due to limitations in FSX/FS9 or is it just hard to develop? Thanks for super products!Best regardsJohan
