Uugh yep, forgot to mention that in my rush... Sorry. I would be looking for B736/7/8 out of ESSA and/or ENGM? Thanks!

SAS Scandinavian Airlines RPL's?
Hi,I'm asking as many RPL-flightplans for SAS (Sweden and Norway, not interested in EKCH-departures (expect to ENGM and ESSA)) as possible. I know pretty much how the remarks with SAS goes with RPL's but are you able to list as many flights (callsigns, there may be one flight between X and Y with callsign Z and other with callsign W, but Z may use RPL as W doesn't) for SAS with ORGN/RPL in the remarks? Thanks very much!Otto Nieminen / SAS1296

737-800 approach speeds
Hi Jack!Appreciate your comment. I have also noticed (though in the simulator :D) that in my opinion the -800 is easier to flare down with flaps30 than with 40. I haven't flown so much with -800 (I fly at SAS VA, mostly with -600, as well as -800's and some rare flights on -700) that I could roughly estimate how much we spend runway with different flap-configurations. SAS uses only 30 degree and 40 degree flaps with 737's, no 25 in normal situations. Do you have some rough airspeed limits which you would like to go with when selecting the flap-configuration from INIT REF?- Otto -

737-800 approach speeds
Yees, sorry about that. Will do in the future. And also forgot to mention the max wind-correction-limits.Okay, thanks from this info. Is there some good rule when to use flaps 40 and when to not?And btw, do you have some hard facts about your claim that flap 40 landing is not usual? IRL-pilot comments would be appreciated ;)- Otto -

737-800 approach speeds
Hi!Boeing suggests following formula for 737NG-series to be used during approaches until runway threshold:"Vref + 5kn + 1/2 steady wind + full gusts"When using above formula with -800 plus 40 degree flaps on landing during high headwind components we get sort of a mess. The aircraft likes to pitch down, between 2.5-5 degrees as the engines are screaming at 70-85% N1. During such situations you have to fly below the calculated Vapp, in some situations speeds equal to or even below Vref. With other NG-series the formula works all fine, not with -800 (at least with 40 degree flaps, which is reguired in some cases in order to accomplish the braking safely)How do you handle such situations? Just fly the approach in Vref, with normal pitch and engine power, or fly with the Vapp-speed with nose down and high throttle?

737 - startup without APU?
Okay, thanks guys from the replies :) Waiting for the NGX...

737 - startup without APU?
Hi!Is there some way to startup the 737NG without bleed air from APU? Some kind of bleed air is reguired for the startup, doesn't they have separate ground unit for that purpose IRL? Thanks!

737 - Logging Off From Acars
Okay, thanks, I'll check this out when I have the time for it :)

737 - Logging Off From Acars
Hi!I know that the ACARS-system isn't operative in the 737, but am I able to logoff without realoading the whole aircraft? I can't find any button for it, and the FMC just keeps sending the "LOGOFF ACARS FIRST"-message. Thanks and merry christmas ;)

Hgs (hud) For 737ng?
Thanks, I have to test this one out!Tabs: Is it just this which was linked by joeairplane79, or some else? I haven't thought in a first place that there would be some official HUD for PMDG, the "unofficials" are the ones which are hard to find ;)

Hgs (hud) For 737ng?
Hi.Is there available some kind of HGS (the HUD, more in here)? I thought there were some payware panel which had one, is there available merge with it or with some freeware-version? Thanks.

737ng - End Of Route-message
Hello.Does it hapen in real life also, that the FMC makes sometimes the beep sound on landing, message coming to the screen is "END OF ROUTE". Sometimes on my PMDG this doesn't happen if I e.g. get vectors to final and don't fly over some waypoint, or when I switch over to VOR LOC-mode and fly past some RNAV-waypoint on the final. I do have all of the missed approach-procedures programmed, with holdings if they're included in the procedure. Does the FMC make the beep in real life, or just display the message? Sometimes its bit annoying to hear that on touchdown :( Thanks,Otto.

PMDG 737 and RXP WX500 merge - error message
Yes, but when you look right/left the VC appears, and loads all of its gauges etc. Can I modify the model somehow, that the VC would not appear?

PMDG 737 and RXP WX500 merge - error message
Yes it is, but it's really hard to run this thing smoothly in VC-mode when looking to right/left.. So this doesn't work in 2D-model? :-/

PMDG 737 and RXP WX500 merge - error message
Hi!I founded the older WX500 somewhere and installed it, but now I can't get the 2D-version working...The VC and cabin-versions work perfectly, radar is going fine, but when I try to load the 2D version, and when pressing the "Fly now"-button the mouse goes to hourglass and the whole sim just shuts down, no error messages, nothing...I don't use the VC almost at all when flying, so it would be nice to get the VC working ;D

PMDG 737 and RXP WX500 merge - error message
Hi!I don't know that would this post fit better to PMDG-forum, but here we go...I think this question has been asked for millions of times, but why doesn't this merge work in my FS? I have the version 5.2 of the WX500 (I think it's the older one?) and I have installed the whole thing as instructed, but I get this message all the time;http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/189201.gifI'm operating with Windows XP (though it looks like Vista ;D) and FS2004It would be very helpful to get this thing working, I'm really interested in flying with 737NG-series 8-)
