I currently have the regular version of FSX loaded, but I wanted the SDK so I purchased the Deluxe version of eBay. Does anyone know if I have to do a complete re-install (which I don't really want to do) or is there a way for me to install the SDK onto my current installed FSX?Thanks,Henry

Do you crash if you use another plane ..... say one of the default ones? I also have this airport but haven't had this problem.Regards,Henry

I got it but it runs like a dog (on my system anyway). I normally have no problems maintaining 20+ fps and smooth flight anywhere in the world (including NYC and Flytampa's Hong Kong), but this new Dubai scenery runs around 8-9 fps (and I haven't even installed the photo real scenery (part 2)) yet. On top of that it's giving me OOM problems (which I never had before). It's been un-installed.Regards,Henry

Thanks for all the replies.Looks like I'm leaning towards getting Instant Scenery. I doubt I will want to get any more involved than just placing objects, not that I wouldn't mind extending scenery and such, but most of my time is spent on constructing a home cockpit (767) right now.I discovered a freeware called Whisplacer..... does anyone have any experience with it? Is it comparable to Instant Scenery?Thanks,Henry

In hindsight I now realized I should have purchased FSX Deluxe rather than the Standard version. Anyway, I want to be able to place scenery objects around the areas I fly, so should I just get Instant Scenery or should I purchase the FSX Deluxe to get the SDK and then use something like SBuilderX?Thanks,Henry

Hi AllAll of a sudden I can't set my parking brake anymore. I haven't added anything new. When I use the keypress Ctrl + period, there is no indication of anything happening. I tried assigning the parking brake to a joystick button and funny thing is when I press the joystick button the parking brake message come on and then off again.... but it doesn't do that with the keypress. Also, if I have plane that has the parking brake on a panel, the mouse button doesn't do anything either..... but pressing the joystick button will cause the parking brake lever to move (and then it releases immediately - in sync with the parking brake message). Anyone know what could be causing this?Thanks,Henry
