December 16, 200916 yr I currently have the regular version of FSX loaded, but I wanted the SDK so I purchased the Deluxe version of eBay. Does anyone know if I have to do a complete re-install (which I don't really want to do) or is there a way for me to install the SDK onto my current installed FSX?Thanks,Henry
December 16, 200916 yr The SDK is a separate install. Simply open the CD in the explorer, go the the subdirectory and run the installer. December 16, 200916 yr Note that once you run that, you will have the "RTM" version of the sdk. Go to fsdeveloper.com and see the wiki on how to update the sdk once installed so that it matches your fsx sp level. At a min, you should be at sdk sp1a which includes the object modeling tools and some fixes to the original tools. If you want to model in GMax, you need to separately d/l and install that from turbosquid. scott s..

One still has to register at turboquid.SDK SP1a includes the gmax gamepack. You correctly point out the one should install the SDK SP to match the level of one's FS version.

One still has to register at turboquid.OK. I know it was included in some prior FS versions but thought it wasn't on the FSX sdk disk.At any rate, GMax 1.2 can be had from here:http://www.turbosquid.com/gmaxscott s..
