  1. Hi Alaai brought the 700 about a year or so ago, it is a nice bird, but hate the fmc navdata not being updates, also i used to get crashes when using the fmc, i fixed these by changing the language to US English (i had mine set to English -AUS). now i can use the bird and fly it with out any fmc crashes what so ever, now all i need is the nav data updates and i will be happy, but will be really happyu once pmdg release their 737. make the change in language and see if that helps, i have not had any problem in entering gross weight,i hipe it helps a littleJason
  2. Hi guys,i reviewd the Maldives scenery. i jsut checked my screen capture program that i use (screenhunter) and the jpg quality is set at 90, i also used ms photo editor to crop these images, maybe something in that program has changed the compresion, i will look into it and see if i can see why it has come out like that. i am going to be using gimp for any screenshot edits from now one, so hopefully there is nothing m\on my end that will reduce the qualitythanks for the comment though, has allowed me to look into this furtherJason
  3. Hi Guys, just thought i would mention that the airports in the review were from the Freeware Package from OZx, these guys work beside Orbx and provide their products for free, thought i should mention that as i overlooked it in the review.Jason
  4. HI, sorry i should have made it clearer that the version 2.1 is for FSX only, i was originally under the impression that it worked for FS9 too, sorry for any confusion this may have caused.Jason

i have just tried this with my amd phenom 9850, chopped this back to two cores instead of the four i was running, and wow, it has slightly improved my frame rates, but the smoothness is outstanding i get no stutters what so ever, and the CS 757 which gave me around 20fps and slight stuttering during turns now gives me on average 25fps and no stutters what so ever, i will be monitoring this on my system and see if i get any decrease in performance.it seems counter productive to remove two cores from running FSX as you would think that you need all the processing power you can get, but it seesm to work in my brief tests, will keep you postedJason
  6. Hi thanks for the comments on my review. i take note on the installation pictures, and will adjust my reviews for future. as far as the vista issues go i cannot comment as i have been running windows xp, but i am reinstalling vista as we speak, so i will let you know how it goes and if i have any issues. i was lucky not to have any crashes what so ever so i didn't have any of the problems, again this could be a vista thing, so again i will let you knowthanks again for the feedback, it is good to get some either good bad or otherwiseJason
