  1. HI KiwiflyerNot sure if this is what you are looking for. Using the scroll wheel on your mouse(if you have one): 1 Scrolling forward or back with the wheel will move the VC image the same way. 2 Holding down CTRL button, roll wheel fwd to move RIGHT, roll wheel back to move LEFT. 3 Holding down SHIFT button, roll wheel fwd to move UP, roll wheel back to move DOWN.Regards Alan
  2. Hi DocBrownI have four of Zinertek's products.Ultimate Weather FX, U/Water,U/airport Enhancement/U/ Night Environment2010. In order of preference for each one is as follows.I find all of these products very good. 1.The Weather FX in particular produces (IMO) terrific dawn and dusk colours, clouds etc. I have looked at REX on many occasions and have not found any reason to change from FX.2.Ultimate Water is a great improvement on the default and does look quite realistic, however it does have one small visual flaw which some may not notice, others may.3.U/Airport Enhancement and Night Environment do make subtle changes for the better to their respective sceneries and objects but I did not get a WOW factor from the changes. However, these changes are again better than the default. The FPS are not taxed too much on my dual core system, in fact when I installed each one over time I did not notice any real difference. Also from a cost point of view I think they are very reasonable value. Also the installation process is very easy.Perhaps get only one of them first and see what you think of there work.Hope this helpsAlla
  3. Hi SkybusI am getting 20+fps on the ground with LVLD 767 in vc mode for VTBS. This airport IMO appears better than Imagine WSSS (Singapore).I have a lot of shimmering with WSSS and have tried every tweak to improve it, without success. VTBS appears more stable in this area.Having said that, WSSS is still quite good.My specs: XP Dual core E8400 3Ghz,2GB Ram, 8800GTS.Alan
  4. Hi Mike Thanks for your contribution. I was also looking to buy VHHH but not while this situation remains.I not sure whether this item location is the right place for other members to see this post or whether I should create a new post on this matter.I have read about not double posting but I'm not sure if that would be so.Regards AlanHi SilverbirdThanks also for your input. I am not familiar with enhancer and because I have terrific graphics for all my other flying and scenery I will probably end up putting up with the shimmering on this one add-on.Regards Alan
  5. Hi Fellow simmersI have purchased this airport and it appears to be well presented and detailed. However I have "shimmering" on the buildings, fences and runway lines while moving. All my default airports are stable and sharp and I can run with all my sliders maxed and mipmapping on 4. I realize this is a complex add-on but ask if anyone else has experienced this with other Imaginesim airports.I have searched for reasons and also emailed Imaginesim, who replied promptly saying maybe Display settings or Graphics but after many different tweaks, none of those suggestions worked.Other forum comments regarding "shimmerimg" appear unsure with no definitive answer. My specs: Intel Duo 2 Core E8400 @ 3Ghz 320GB HD- 2Gb Ram GTS8800 Graphics - 512 Mb (196.21Driver) Windows XP HomeI would appreciate any advice Thanks Alla
  6. Thank you to all who responded to my questions. As a newbie we all have a learning curve to encounter and it's forums like this that help us out. However' it's a pity that Rafal reply was somewhat aggressive. Obviously another member also benefited from his reply, so perhaps I am not the only one who didn't fully understand airacs. Thanks againAlla
  7. Hi fellow simmers,Some questions I need answered please.1.Can anyone please explain the Airac cycles, what they are, how they work and what they do. Also how the Navigraph system works.2.When ATC is called by the departing aircraft and they say "United 1234 with Juliet" or it could be with "Mike" what is the phonetic reference to the "J" or "M" or other letters. Thanks allAlla
  8. Hi AVSIM team,I was looking at your FS2 Crew reviews intros and noticed that the one for the PMDG 747 (Feb 23,2007) has the "Track Clip Pro" line against it but describes the 747 overview. Subsequently, if you click on this one it brings up the review for Track Clip, not the 747.Directly under that one is another "Track Clip Pro" line which correctly describes this review, so although the overviews are different, both of the full reviews are for the "Track Clip Pro".So I could not access the full 747 review of FS2 Crew. Thought you would want to know and I would like to read it.Hope you can fix.Glad to see you back and thanks.Alla
