Moving Pilot's POV in VC

Featured Replies

Can someone remind me how to change the pilot's POV in VC? I've done it before but now can't remember how I did it! :(

Aircraft.cfg 'eyepoint' parameter.

Aircraft.cfg 'eyepoint' parameter.
Thanks - but was hoping for a bit more detail. :( Which set of numbers on that line does what? Moves up? Down? Forward etc??

Sure - from the default 737 for example:eyepoint=43.7, -1.31, 3.7 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum'Reference datum' is basically dead center of the model. So the 43.7 figure is forward of center, -1.31 is left of center, and 3.7 is up from center - voila - eyepoint. Play with the figures but use small increments, a little goes a long way once you're already in the general right spot.

Mark

HI KiwiflyerNot sure if this is what you are looking for. Using the scroll wheel on your mouse(if you have one): 1 Scrolling forward or back with the wheel will move the VC image the same way. 2 Holding down CTRL button, roll wheel fwd to move RIGHT, roll wheel back to move LEFT. 3 Holding down SHIFT button, roll wheel fwd to move UP, roll wheel back to move DOWN.Regards Alan

For that what Alan is telling you need to have the F1_view-dll. You can download it on the Flight 1 website.
