Did you by chance ever try to update your DLSS files for both normal DLSS and frame generation DLSS?

There are two DLSS files? I updated "one" (to 3.7.0) and I don't like Frame Generation. Maybe I should have updated another file?

    PS: I folow this guide:

  2. We are nearing the end of the BETA phase for version 1.3.

    1.3.393 - May 15, 2024

    1. Fixed an issue where ground aircraft would get stuck while vacating the runway when headed towards each other.
    2. Resolved an issue causing continuous runway changes upon arrival.
    3. Eliminated unnecessary vectoring during approach transition.
    4. Resolved an issue causing unnecessary handoffs to the Center during the approach.
    5. Fixed a problem where there was no contact with the tower during the final approach.

  3. I bought the Deluxe Premium version during a Steam sales. It must have been a month ago.

It's been worth it to learn about MSFS: camera system, menu system, joystick and keyboard configurations... It's even been good to get to know other things, like FSHud.

Either "2024" is something exceptional or I'll stick with 2020 for a long, long time...

  4. I uninstalled everything to what had to do with Prepar3D and migrated to MSFS. I was very curious about that simulator and wanted to try something else.

As with everything in life, "this" and "that" have their pros and cons; but one thing I've noticed is that lack of inertia, the feeling is different for worse in MSFS. I suggest that anyone who has Prepar3D with lots of nice addons stays where you are.

I'm not regretting having switched, but MSFS isn't the marvelous thing that many people say it is (just as P3D isn't perfect in many ways), but I wanted to comment on that here.

As for the Q400, i'd love to have it in MSFS, but (please don't shoot me) the ATR is a very good model and i'm flying it quite a lot lately. Not a real replacement, but it does the job and well done.

I bought the ATR precisely to have a replacement for the Dash 8.

Funnily enough, I've mastered the Q400 perfectly, but I'm very scared of the ATR 😆

Are you perhaps mistaking photogrammetry (i.e. Google Earth-style buildings) for orthographic scenery for the entire world?

Orthography/photoscenery for the ground in MSFS is fantastic (far superior to landclass textures). The often 'melted buildings' PG, not so much. And certainly not for the performance hit you can have when airliner flying.

(oh God the MSFS's loading time...)

    I'm talking about this:

It's not something I want to turn off...

Turn down MSFS to P3D visuals and I doubt that FPS will be lower in the Fenix A320.

Turning off photogrammetry? for that I wouldn't have bought MSFS...

What makes all the difference with P3D is the photogrammetry, TAA and the "lighting" ambient/effects.

I honestly thought that the leap in performance that everyone was talking about would be more obvious...

PS: The 737NG is lighter in terms of FPS.
