  1. Yes I realised after I had posted, didnt think that the original post went through
  2. Hello Bert Well the good news is everything is working again. Thank you for all your advice and help in getting the database back working. Now I can continue my flight from scotland to florida flying the long way round via iceland and greenland, I am using the carenado premier1 which uses the GTN750 as default.so everything is good again. Thanks once again for the sterling service I got in this matter Bruce
  3. Thanks Bert will give this a try tomorrow
  4. Hi Bert I bought this through F1 and all they give is an installer that goes into the C:/realityxp folder that installs into xplane and installs the trainer there is no separate trainer in the downloads folder. I have installed and uninstalled a couple of times now, funny thing is when I try to re-install it says a database is installed but when I look in C:/Program Data/garmin/trainer/database there is no database there on the FPL folder. When I uninstall Garmin I do that through windows settings then I completely delete the programdata/garmin folder but, somehow the database is still there according to the trainer installer. I am at the point of giving up now cant seem to move forward with this. Flight1 say they do not support realityxp for xplane
  5. Purchased the GTN750 today through F1 the problem is No Databases found checked the Garmin Trainer, same thing No Databases Found Trainer Version V2.7.1.0 This is for Xplane 11 Unit is seen in the sim just no databases System I5-8600K, NVIDIA GTX1070Ti, Gigabyte Z370 Motherboard Windows 10 16Gb Ram

  7. Hi Frank Just noticed that, I created a flight plan from my home airport in Scotland EGPK to Aberdeen EGPD and found a waypoint locked, I did as you said just deleted it and all was fine
  8. Problem Solved. I uninstalled everything to do with Garmin & Reality XP, downloaded software again turning off Anti Virus and windows defender. Installed using the default settings in the installers, now works perfectly. Thanks Frank for replying, this may have been due to a bad install maybe something got corrupted during the initial install
  9. Hi Frank I have the files stored in " C\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\GTN\FPLN" I have created a Flight Plan in Little Nav Map and exported it to Garmin GTN and when I look in FPLN files my plan is there along with KSLE-KSLE.gfp and the waypoint ext. My installation is using the default installation path
  10. I have just bought the GTN 750 for xplane 11 two days ago 15th Aug 2018. Like others I get no Import button on the menu. This problem was around in march, surely there must be a solution found by now? The default folders are correct with permissions are there any solutions in sight
  11. Hi Norbert I got this reply as well this morning Bruce
  12. This is quite normal on the Dash 8, the props are counter rotating, both props turn the same way unlike the ATR's, just set right rudder trim to counteract the tendancy to veer to the left and you should be ok, I tend to set the trim just short of the first mark on the guage and that works for me, only slight rudder input to the right needed to keep on the centreline
  13. Hi Robert Well good news at last. 1. I disconnected my goflight throttle from the USB Hub and all of a sudden my single throttle on my CH Yoke started working. 2. Re-connected throttle and placed the goflight config file on another drive, once again yoke throttle was working, so there is an issue with the goflight throttle. 3. Did the action that goflight gave to Gnacio that didnt work. 4. Removed Goflight software from PC and re-installed again, tested 777 again and once again throttle on yoke works, next I connected goflight throttle and once again no go, throttles jumping back to idle. 5. Made a new config file just for the 777 and removed the goflight throttlle settings, at last that worked, the single throttle on the yoke works perfectly no springing back to idle. 6. Replaced the config file with the old on and added the 777 my other two aircraft that I use in our VA came up ok apart from the lights on the 767, so have just re-installed the settings for the lights on the 767. At last I can start to use the 777 in our VA, we are doing trials just now so that was why I was getting frustrated with PMDG, I so wanted this aircraft to work. Thanks very much for your suggestions, at least now I have a working 777 all be it with on a single throttle controlling the aircraft, thats a heck of a lot better than I had before, I can live with that tilll PMDG bring out the SDK, goflight state that as soon as they get that they will make new drivers. Sorry if I sounded a bit nippy on here but you can understand my frustration with the 777. Regards Bruce Jackson
  14. Hi Robert Thanks for the suggestion, in fact no I dont worry at all about my other aircraft, but, when you have approx 12 modules all programmed through that cfg file, it becomes a big job re-inputting the settings again, the suggestion was to delete the file altogether. What might work for him, if for instance he has only the throttle installed is fine, but when you have a whole host of stuff programmed through that one file then thats a different ball game altogether. Correct me if I am wrong but is your suggestion to rename that goflight.cfg file to something else instead of deleting it? Now if I go back to the ifly737 and the Level D 767, FSUIPC sees the throttle but it dosnt when I go into the 777 surely that would point to something in the 777 software not being right. I will certainly give your idea a go and see if that works. I actually do love the 777 I have no other issues at all with it, just the throttles, and a whole bunch of other folks have the same problem, some have got them to work with your suggestion and others like myself nothing works at the moment. When my throttles revert to idle the doors sign on the eicas flashes , the throttles work well when no A/T is engaged, Sometimes I can get the throttles to go to full when A/T engaged but all of a sudden either the left or right throttle snaps back to idle leaving me with one engine effectively in the high speed regime and that is where the frustration sets in.
