The analogy that I used fits just fine with regards to the post above it. There are more then a few simmers that have said the plane is unflyable for them. My point was that if you buy something and it doesn't work properly you probably want it to be fixed. Hence you already making point with the refresh to your friends car. Tony

They do owe us the sp Marius. We paid for the product it doesn't work properly we expect it to be fixed no matter what the time frame is. So you're saying you buy something like a new car from a dealership it breaks down a few days later you wouldn't ask the dealership to fix the car.? Oliver it's been over 6 months. This leads me to believe the 777 was not even close to ready when it first appeared. However, I am sure that we will have an update that states how the beta version is imminent and then nothing for two months until the hype goes away. Tony

I believe people are frustrated and with good reason. If it really takes almost a year for them to fix it then it confirms that the original wasn't even close to being right. I don't even care that its taking that long I'm just tired of all the hype. For instance, " we might have the plane to the beta team on Mon, and sure enough almost three Mondays later not a dang thing. Either put up or well you know the rest. Tony

Luke, I believe the proper phrase should be don't hold your breath on this ever coming out anytime soon. I could care less about the 777-300er, I just want the dang service pack that is way over due. Tony

Actually with pmdg you have to go with the law of 4. If they say 1 month it actually means 4, 2 months said means 8 months. I wouldn't expect this bird until fall. Seriously it might be a race between fs labs and pmdg. Tony

Bottom line we just want to fly the plane with as few interruptions as possible. I'm just tired of these small updates that promise were close, almost ready, approximately two weeks , and she's almost done to name a few . At least try to keep close to what you say . In most cases I would tend to agree with you . However, in this case customers have bought a product in good faith and for a lot it doesn't work. So they are under an obligation to fix it with sp1. If you are talking about the 300er then you are right they are under no obligation. Tony S

I think we all need to calm down a little. I understand people's frustrations on how long it's taking. We paid for a product in good faith that it would work satifactory in fsx, unfortunately for some it doesn't. I don't think it should have taken this long personally but I'm not Thr boss. But on the other hand pmdg have made their minds up on when it will be released and no amount of pestering will make them change their minds. Hopefully it will be out by the end of feb so everyone can enjoy the 777. Thanks Anthony Slattery.

Thanks for the update Robert! I'm glad that everything is coming along nicely. But since you said 2 weeks I'll go with 4 and raise you another 4 for final testing. So I am going with an early March release. Tony Slattery
