Hello Everyone! Other than roasting away in this heat, and watching my grass die a very slow death, I have not done much in the way of flying. This month I am planning a trip to Waukegan, IL to their air show. The Canadian Snowbirds are scheduled to perform. I haven't seen since I was a teen in Colorado Springs. Then the next weekend, I am going to the Quad City Air Show. They will have the USAF Thunderbirds. Going to get some 'eyes (if not hands) on' airplane time. Roman, remember, meet me in Waukegan and you get a jar of my delicious home-canned pickles! If anyone is planning to go to these airshows, let me know, wouldn't mind putting some faces to all of our names (and I will bring more pickles!).
