    Sorry to go off topic slightly, but as the ITVV DVD of the MD-11 was mentioned, can anyone recomend any other great cockpit titles?some that I've watched are quite old and Im sure theres got to be some newer ones out there for say the 737NGX, A320 etcgot to agree though, the MD-11 ITVV film is fantastic.

    For what its worth I was getting this error consistently out of nowwhere. (APPCRASH with 93d9.dll)After a whole re-install etc it boiled down to my version of MSI's Afterburner for the Nvidia 470!!Once disabled, the errors completley vanished.

    Thanks for the input guys.Looks like a no-brainer here, Im going with the 480.Can anyone confirm if the noise and heat from this thing are as bad a some say?If so, could be an ebayer in time for the new 485...

    Hi guys,Now I know this must be a tired topic, but I'm after the most upto date views on which GPU gets FSX flowing nicely.The cards I have in mind are the Fermi 470/480 GPU's and the ATI (Asus) 5870.The problem I have is that although Nvidia cards are supposed to perform slightly better with FSX, the idea of spnding a fortune on a card that runs very hot and draws far more power than it's ATI rival has me stumped. A lot of reviews also claim the 5870 also has better frame rates in most other games. The ATI is also

    Hi,I'm currently purchasing components for an FSX dedicated machine.I'm after some advice with regards to Hard drives. My motherboard will support usb3 and Sata 6GB (Asus P6X58D-E X58).What will give me the best performance? An SSD, a 300GB Velociraptor?? do I wait for the USB3/SATA 6GB drives to come out??Does anyone know if having SATA 6GB will make any differnce to FSX performance at all?in fact does having a quick HDD make much noticible difference in FSX?Please advise.Thanks :)Phil Mosley
