Hi Malcolm yes I agree, PMDG definitely makes the best add-ons I've seen. I'm doing my best to try to ignore this spoiler issue which really isn't that big a deal. I've just been so used to watching my playbacks in great detail for years... :) I'm hoping someone somewhere can figure out a way around it. Anyway, quick question: do you know if there is a way to disconnect that lo-speed protection function that engages the throttle anytime you get too close to minimum speed? I know how to disconnect it but it re-engages every time my speed drops too low. I would like to be able to do manual landings without worrying about the auto throttle correcting me all the time. Any suggestions? Thanks Rafael

hi Malcolm how are you? this is Rafael, I'm the one who actually started this topic. Have you had any luck in finding a work-around this issue? I downloaded Fraps today and the only thing I could figure out was to playback my landings in FS Recorder, manually deploy the spoilers then use fraps to record the whole thing. Just wondering if anyone else has had any luck!thanksRafael

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is having problems with the spoilers deploying when you replay a landing in the MD-11 for FSX. The spoilers deploy perfectly when I do the actual landing, however every time I replay it, they do not deploy! Any suggestions? By the way, I've already installed the latest update but am still experiencing the problem. Thank you Rafael Ottey

Hi Dan thank you very much, that's what I keep reading but when I press the copy RTE key and "complete" appears, nothings shows up. Nevertheless I'm going to set a flight now and pay extra close attention just to make sure. Once again thank you for taking the time to respond.Rafael

Hi Leffe thanks for responding, OK I did what you said and got the "not in data base" message. Question: am I supposed to make up a name for the route then hit the copy RTE key or does the FMS create a name for me? Rafael

Hi everyone I could really use dome help with this. OK here's the deal, I have the PMG 747X which I absolutely love. I've put off asking for help because I really wanted to figure this out for myself. For the past couple of weeks, I've read the product manual as well as several tutorials, but for some reason I cannot save the flight plans I create in the FMC. After inputting all the info, I select the RTE Copy then get the message "COMPLETE" but nothing happens after that. I also try typing a new name for my flight plan but that doesn't work either, so if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. thanksRafael
