PMDG Operations Centre and 777 Documentation
I just bought and installed my new toy. Wonderful. Great product. A small issue that I noticed is this. In the new Operations Centre > 777 Menu > Documentation page, all the 777 Documentations appear on the right pane. When I click on them to open nothing happens. They do not open. However on the 737NGX equivalent I can open all of the documents. I know this is not a critical issue, but the Operations Centre is neat and nice to be able to access everything from one place. Thanks ahead for any ideas

B777 - Virtual cockpit only / no 2D panel?
Why not just create VC panel and sell 2D panel to those that want to live in the past (the idea is obsord).

777 or 787
The 787 is brand new..give it time to settle and rest before we eat it. On the other hand the 777 has been around for years of impeccable airline service and we deserve PMDG rendition of it. The 787 can come later.Phil

B777 - Virtual cockpit only / no 2D panel?

looking around the VC
Birdman..I was in the same boat as you..then I purchased EZDOK and was a total mess trying to work out WorldCams..so I deleted EZDOK and went back to 2D cockpit. But I was missing out on so much reality without the VC. That was until I tuned into Angle of Attack tutorials and videos and convinced myself to reinstall EZDOK. It is a bugger to get it right but once you do it is a marvel that I cannot do without. I dont even look at 2D cockpit anymore, dont have to. Watch the tutorials at AOA and you cannot go wrong.RegardsPhil

How acurate is the downloaded weather in ActiveSky 2012?
fly60 replied to fly60's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumThere is no mention in the manual that US weather is anymore accurate then Australian weather or anywhere else for that matter. My Wx Report for YBNA has not changed much for the last few days, still at Broken clouds and no presipitation recorded. Yet my weather website has recorded over 220mm of rain in the last 5 days.Wonder if anyone else is experiencing such descrepancies.Cheers

How acurate is the downloaded weather in ActiveSky 2012?
Yesterday in the general area where I live (North East NSW Australia) we had a significant weather event of heavy continous rain with high winds. However all I could get from ActiveSky 2012 was broken clouds up to 7000 ft, with NO presipitation recorded. I mean it was buckiting down outside with rain all day and yet AS2012 could not get it.Why? Have I done something wrong? Am I missing something?Yes I do have the Automatic Downloads ticked off in the Wx Options and I get the green message stating that weather has been downloaded. Thanks

Victorian bushfire crisis
Good on ya mcbellette..nice effort..let me just add that the donations so far are approaching $A50 million..not bad for Australia's 21 million people..goes to show our Aussie spirit. If only we can get our hands on those murderous animals that started some of these fires.
