Oh wow, thank you for the excellent report! My sliders are nor aboslute right. I love to fly with 30+ FPS and I am expect lower scenery quality. Currently I am quiet satsified with my PMDG NGX in EGSS with 25-30 FPS. With the FSL I do not have FPS greater than 15. Maybe the software developer of FSL did not make a good job. But I would like to continue to fly with an A320 model. Maybe I should aerosoft give a chance before buying some new hardware.

Hi, I only fly IFR with PMDG NGX/777 or in future I want to use the FSLabs A320. The most of the time I fly airports like UK2000 Gatwick, FSDT Zurich and holiday destinations. I was thinking about to upgrade my graphiccard to the GTX 970 or the processor? Your recommendations seems to be also a good idea.

Hi, I would like to upgrade my PC. I do not want a High-End-Computer, but I am planning to use Win10, P3Dv4 with ORBX Global Vector and FSLabs A320 with Airport Sceneries like UK2000. This is my system: Mini-ITX: Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced (minited due to space) Motherboard: GA-B85N Graphic: Zotac GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB Processor: Xeon E3-1230V3 RAM: 8 GB And I do not want to spend more than 200-300€, maybe 400. ;) Do you have any ideas what I should upgrade? Thank you for your replies. I think I upgrade the GPU to the 1060, and the RAM to 16GB. I've read that P3D has more priority on the GPU than on the CPU. If I find later a CPU for my motherboard, maybe I get also there a new one.

Hi pilots, currently I am looking for an upgrade of my current hardware for flightsimming in P3d 4.1. At the moment I am running an Mini-ITX system with GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boos, Xeon® Prozessor E3-1230V3, and 8GB RAM on one 23" monitor (1980*1440px). I do not want to have a high end system. Mostly I am flying the PMDG 737/777 with FTX Global/Vector. Additionally i am using airports like the complex of the UK2000 group. Now I want to identify the bottle neck: Should I upgrade the graphic card or the CPU? If graphic card, I have to check if the card fits in Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced (Mini-ITX). Do you have any recommendations? This would be very helpful for me! Thak you very much in advance! Best regards

Hi! I have some problems with contrails on Online Traffic. I think the traffic use the default textures. How can I restore the default contrail effects, if I use FSX Steam Edition? Or could I download them anywhere? I did some unsuccessfully experiments to get better contrails, but the default ones are currently the best ones. Thank you very much!

Hi, thank you! I will start another try this evening. But first I need again more space on my hard disk. Is there any opportunity to identify the last changed files/dirs on it? Maybe this would give me a hint about the problem, when I see the files, which reserved that space. Best regards

Hi pilots, yesterday I had a strange problem during my flight with FSX-SE (PMDG NGX, enroute). Normally I have free disk space on my FSX-SE hard disk of 5-10GB. During flight I got a message that I run into low hard disk space. Then I observed, that the free space was decreasing by a rate of 100-250KB per second. I checked Steam and other programs, but no program was downloading anything. On the hard disk are only my FSX-SE. After restarting the computer I have still no free disk space on it. Currently I am not able to locate the files which stored the space yesterday. Do you have any idea? Did you observe the same behaviour one time? Thank you very much!

Good evening,and thanks for the tip.Last days I have installed Windows 7 64Bit and I am very satisfied with the system ;).My first testflight was also successfull, without any problem. I hope there will be no CTD in future.I will continue with it and will report my results here.CheersMichael

Hi pilots,FS2Crew is a really nice AddOn and I cannot fly with out it, since I've bought it ;).But in the last weeks I had a lot of CTDs in different stages of the flight.The FlightSim freezes and the typical WindowsXP messagse appears (....problem was found.....). The details of it says that the file "xactengine3_4.dll" causes it.It happens only when I am flying the iFly connected with FS2Crew.I have reinstalled it and reduced the hardware audio acceleration. Same results...Perhaps any special soundcard problems?Any other ideas?Thanks for help!Michael

UPDATEOK, after my last post, I have tried several things.I have sai that I have two soundcardsA: Onboard Soundcard for FS soundB: C-Media Soundcard for my Headset(I will only use A or B now ;))At the beginning of my testflight in the config menu of FS2Crew was B selected.All works fine.Then I push the VOICE Button two times. It was OFF for 1min.The same problem appears, the FO loses his voice on headset.Then I go into the config menu and selected A.I said e.g. "before TO cecklist" and then the FO answers, but now not on the headset.Switched back to soundcard B, no voice of the FO....again back to A - all works fine.Hmm...there seems two be a problem with my second Soundcard.But when I put my headset to the A soundcard, the same problem appears.Then the problem soundcard is A and B works fine.Thanks for your help!Michael

Hm, I have the latest driver.I have no Mutebutton at the headset, but it wouldn't help because, while I am flying, I will speak sometimes via Skype....Perhaps there is any using two soundcards?One of C-Media for my headset. This is also selected in FS2crew Config that I can hear the voices on the headset.And the other is my onboard soundcard for my FS sound.I have also changed the soundcards (Headset to onboard card), but same problem here.The selection via the "HS"-Button works fine.Michael

Hi!I have made a short testflight:Shortly before TOD I said: "Descend Checklist" -> The FO read the checklist, I heard it on my headsets.After that I scrolled to the Descend list back.I put the "Voice Recognition" OFF for 3min.Then I have put it on again.I said: "Descend Checklist" -> I heard nothing.Then I scrolled to Landing and said: "Flaps 1" -> The FO sets the flaps to position 1 and said nothing.Same when I say "Flaps 10" or "Gear down".Michael

Hi!I think I was in the right mode!20nm before TOD I am pressing the button "Voice" to put it on again.The aircraft starts the descend, I say "Descend Checklist":-> I do not hear anything from the F/O (I think he has to read the checklists alone)-> the mode is changing to "APPROACH"I do not hear anything from the F/O for the rest of the flight.If I don't put OFF the voice enroute, all works fine.But it is not nice because I speak in the room very much. The system will recognice the words.When I say a sentence with "descend", the checklist will start....hmmmThanks!Michael
