Hi there! Quite a few days ago I've seen that someone had told about separate aircraft folders which he added to the fs9.exe by some "-aircraft_folder_a -aircraft_folder_b" extention. I tried to find something with google but haven't found anything. Does anyone have a clue how I could realise that too - unfortunately I'm not that deep into altering the start-up procedure. I wonder if we could upload the PAI Jetstream model here on Avsim to make it available for all but I haven't read the upload policies of Project AI yet. Best regards!

Hi there! I wouldn't like to start a new topic, so I'd like to post my "problem" in this one instead. Well I got the very same issue like Ian have had, I'm looking for the PAI Jetstream 31 model but neither Avsim nor Flightsim haven't the base model in their libraries nor google offers me any helpful results. Hopefully I don't bother anyone with my enquiry if someone could tell me where I can find the Jetstream base model or could send it to me via pm or email? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi there! I was looking for the famous Freeware Flight Group Learjet 35 models, but it's way to hard to find any downloadable version. I guess since the big library crash here on avsim, the models are lost. Ceranado transferred some FSX addons to FS9, so hopefully they want to do the same with their new Phenom 100 (and perhaps some day we'll see a Phenom 300 too?). I use both flight sims but the FS9 is much more comfortable for me, the performance is great and due to more additional addons far away from its default appearance - so I'll open my wallet for a FS9 version. Hello!I tested the sound files with windows media player, all are okay - it appears not only with the default sounds, addon sounds like Tiger Moth or A-26B Invader of Simouthouse don't work too, quite all prop aircraft. Another fact is, that turbine or helo sounds work perfectly and why doesn't appear that problem in FSX? Well, the hardware acceleration. I tryed to change it, but the icon is disabled because Nvidia has its own driver software and there I haven't found anything like that. Would a complete new installation of Vista solve that?Best regards,Elmar

My video card is the Nvidia GeForce 9800GT and I use the latest driver. Could it be, that the new driver causes sound problems?P.S. With FSX I hae no porblems, with props. Best regards,Elmar

Hi!I have deinstalled it completly and installed it in a totally new folder, without success. The exterior sounds are muted, the interior sounds work. Now I tested to fly with CFS2 which I use too and there it is the same problem, well something is wrong with my computer, I think. But what could it be?Best regards,Elmar

Hello!I've some problems with the sound of my propeller aircrafts and unfortunately I get no clue how to solve that. Well, let's discribe the troubles: If I load a aircraft which has a piston engine and propeller, the outside sound is muted or it disappears if the RPM goes up. At first I thought it could be sound.dll, but it wasn't. After that I expected that something is wrong with the fs9.cfg, but it wasn't it too. And the worst thing is, even a reinstallation doesn't fit it. Could it be a gauge of an addon-aircraft, or something other?I love to fly with props and it hurts really, that i have no working sounds. Does anyone have the same problem? Or could help me?Best regards,Elmar

Hey!Yes, that's the problem, the extra models are nomally not changeable with the ACE tool. But so far i know, that you can alter the LC-130 if you copy model file and texture to the C-130 main folder and add it to the aircraft.cfg. So you can choose it in the ACE - but unfourtunally not the L-100-30 for example. But i think there must be a file that saves the ACE settings. Oh dear, i would also prefer a better support but this is another thing.Good bye and kind regards!
