  1. Hi, within your NGX folder ( something like: C:\>>PATH-TO-YOUR-FSX-INSTALLATION<<\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX ) there's a file named 737NGX_Options.ini You have to open it with a text editor and add to the bottom of the file: [sDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1 And, this one is more important, take your time and read the manual ! On page 29 this request is documented. Ciao, Massimo
  2. Hi Charan, thank you very much for your report ! After some debug I discovered that the problem is not related to L, R and COWL. But indeed there's a problem with Virtual Buttons on the Switchpanel. I'll fix it in next release. Please, if possible, post your further reports/requests in Spad forum, simply because I receive notification for every post in that forum letting me fix any bug more quickly. Thanks. Ciao, Massimo
  3. Yes Dick, exactly. Well, you don't need anything to use the trimwheel. The trimwheel is simply a single axis joystick... it doesn't need a driver. Registered FSUIPC has nice axis calibration features which could be useful for the trimwheel indeed. The IPs use a chip designed for digital photo frames ! Of course you need their drivers to make them work with FS. If you want to give Spad a try, pay attention to avoid running the Saitek panels at the same time of Spad. That's all. Ciao, Massimo ... Spad developer... http://fstools.weeebly.com
  4. Hi Dick, Spad supports: Multipanel, Radiopanel, Switchpanel and (starting from today) the BIP. It doesn't support neither the Instrument Panels (the little square devices) nor the Trim Wheel (which is basically a joystick). Spad requires FSUIPC to "talk" to FS. The free version in enough for standard modes, registered version is required to send custom commands like virtual joystick buttons or keyboard emulation. Regards, Massimo ... 5. Just released a new SPAD version. The main new feature is support for the Saitek BIP panel. More Switch panel support for the NGX added as well. Regards, Massimo
  6. Hi Kevin, please consider that this release is focused on reproducing the MCP functions on the Multipanel. Some work is done on the Radiopanel to fix barometric pressure regulation, in-hpa selection and ADF active-standby (it will be included soon in the next release). Actually there's no much specific support for the Switchpanel, basically because I've still no idea on function mapping, especially: - how to use the rotary knob. - how to map the landing gear lever to the 737 three states lever. Any suggestion on what to map on what button-knob-lever of the Switchpanel will be really appreciated !! And, if possible, implemented. Regards, Massimo
  7. Well, I hope so.... It should work just out of the box. You only have to edit your 737NGX_Options.ini to enable the data broadcast (this is related to the NGX) and activate the NGX Special Mode within SPAD.
  8. Hi Captains, for those of you still interested about using the Multipanel, Radiopanel and Switchpanel with the NGX...... give SPAD a try ( http://fstools.weebly.com ). I've recently added NGX MCP support to the Multipanel. Regards, Massimo.
  9. Hi,PMDG has announced the release of an SDK for the NGX.Since Ivap is FSUIPC controllable it should be relatively easy to develop a tool to keep the NGX transponder in sync with Ivap.If I can have access to the SDK is my intention to develop such a tool, probably integrated with SPAD (the alternative Saitek Pro-Flight panels driver I'm developing http://fstools.weebly.com). We all have to wait for the SDK... Massimo De Nadal
  10. Of course !! Robert, you are welcome for dinner. But after traveling (and eating) often in the US, please let me cook alone !! And: yes, The video is really funny..Ciao, Massimo De Nadal____________________________________________________________flying the NGX, the eighth wonder of the sky (and waiting for her SDK !!!)
  11. Dear Sirs,my name is Massimo De Nadal and I'm italian too. First a few words for Marco: la finiamo di comportarci da cafoni ? E se proprio non puoi trattenerti per favore evita di dichiarare che sei italiano ! And now: I really love this forum, I really love PMDG producs (I'm an old PMDG customer)and I really love to support the FS community: for example developing free software for the community (http://fstools.weebly.com I'm Massimo, the developer), Mats, can you say something similar ? Gentlemen, allow me to remind you that misbehaving children are spread all over the world.Seizing these opportunities to make racist humor demonstrates a certain limit of your mind. So, now I close my Visual Studio instance (for those of you who know what it is) and go in my kitchen to cook something playing my mandolin for your fine racist ilarity.Kind regards, Massimo De Nadal____________________________________________________________________ITALIAN PMDG customer, ITALIAN free FS tool developer, ITALIAN FS enthusiast
  12. Hi,my name is Massimo, I'm a happy PMDG J41 owner and the developer of SPAD.SPAD is a little free replacement tool for the Saitek ProFlight panels drivers (http://fstools.weebly.com).I would like to integrate specific operating modes for the J41 and the upcoming NGX.I know that PMDG's policy is to not publish SDKs or other documentation for 3rd party software developers.Considering that SPAD is a free but closed source tool and that I have no problem to sign a non-disclosure agreement with you: can you consider my request to access the documentation needed to develop my tools ?Thank you very much for your attention.Massimo De Nadal
  13. Vincent, do you mean the "imminent" PMDG 737NGX release ?Well, if an SDK will be available (and usable) I'll add a special-mode for this bird for sure. All in all I should have a lot of time before NGX release !!Massimo
  14. Hi guys,at least I'm not dead :biggrin:After a sabbatical year I've started to develop a new Spad version. It's a long path cause I'm porting the whole project to the .NET platform which requires a complete rewrite but it's a necessary step to grant good integration/compatibility/performance level. At the moment I'm still in a design phase, so it's a good moment for special features requests and suggestions.Regards,Massimo De Nadal(Massimo who?? well... I'm SPAD developer)P.s.Yankeegolf, thank you very much for your donation
