  1. Thank you Steve for the amazing work, you and Joel too.. I really love the new sound set, specially the Rattle and TOGA sounds..
  2. Tried it out, and no FPS increase nor decrease, thanks for sharing
  3. hmmm, so what you are trying to say is Maybe if I increased the AutoGen density to Extreme Dense would increase my FPS? I will try that out and let you know
  4. Hehe, Thank you Steve. I am free for any tryouts and tests..
  5. Alright Guys; I think I've found my way for a solution, and I'm Very pleased with it.. What I've done is OverClocking my VGA from stock 775MHz to 900MHz Core Clock, and From 1050MHz to 1200MHz Memory Clock, I've also changed the Buffer Pools entry to 0 in FSX.cfg, Also I've noticed in the MSI Afterburner software that GPU usage sometime reached to 70% which is quite rare for FSX :). With ATI-tray tools: 4X Super-Sample AA, Edge Detect, Anistropic 16x, Texture Quality : High Quality, V-Sync : Always Off, I get between 25 to 30 FPS (Low Resolution Cockpit) @ EHAM aerosoft and about 20 to 25 (High Resolution Cockpit). I am pleased with the current settings as if I want to gain more FPS it's just 2 clicks away in the display setting, same time I've get rid of those lines.. I thank everyone who tried to help me, more discussions are welcomed. Thanks.
  6. Thank you Steve very much for your help, But I've given a try before for that shader addon, and it didn't do anything, Screens still has the lines.. It's even worse, Clouds didn't look sharp as before also the water has no animation and looks strange (Attached), and I only use REX for the water (no FS Water Configurator). ----- Just to let you know, Lines exist under (Multi-Sample & Adaptive-Sampling), it goes with Super-Sample (at least 4X) and Low Res Cockpit texture.. NOTE: I've played around with the FSX.CFG, and I've changed the BufferPools to (UsePools=0) instead of (RejectThreshold=131072) and I got nearly 5 to 10 FPS increase at EHAM with aerosoft, Just wanted to share the info..
  7. Thank you Ryan for you comment, maybe next upgrade will move back to Nvidia.
  8. Thank you Jamie for the reply, but V-Sync was off all the time. I will give a try after an hour cause I am in a flight now, and I will post the results. Thanks again.
  9. Thank you Jamie, it dose help indeed, and that what I posted in my first post, last picture, but my question is, that I can't get rid of those lines in Multi or Adaptive sample (8X and Edge Detect selected), only Super Sample can remove it, and that hit the FPS so much as you just mentioned. So I am wondering how to get rid of it under Multi or Adaptive sampling.. Thanks
  10. It's a grid of lines and dots and that when I move the view inside the VC those rapidly moves with me, and it's visible only on the displays, and it's also only visible in High Res. cockpit setting with AA MultiSample and Adaptive, but not visible under low resolution cockpit and under Super Sample AA.. Pics: Can you see those lines, Grids or dots that changes on the display? it's really annoying.
  11. Hello Guys; First: I would like to Thank PMDG for the Masterpiece the 737, and it's the most enjoyable aircraft I've ever Virtually flown :), Thank you -- Second: Here is my PC setup Processor : AMD Phenom II x4 945 @ 3.3 GHz (OverClocked) MB : Gigabyte GA-880GM-D2H Graphics Card : Gigabyte AMD HD6850 (GPU Clock : 875MHz, Memory Clock : 1200MHz) (OverClocked) RAM : 8GB Kingstone running at 1333 MHz HD : Old western Digital 7200 RPM.. So it's a capable PC. -- Third: The Problem: Here is my issue with PMDG 737 ONLY, in the displays (AA) I've used many AA Tools, like stock AMD CCC, It didn't help, but finally ATI Tray seems to do the job well. What I see is too many dots -that moves rapidly whenever the head moves- in the displays and text is very sharp but not readable from distance. I've tried (Multi-Sample AA, 8X, Box, Wide-Tent and Narrow-Tent) The displays are very sharp but the text not clear, and the dots exist. Same thing with (Adaptive Multi-Sample AA, 8X, Box, Wide-Tent and Narrow-Tent) dots exist. -- The only two solutions I have, is to uncheck "High Resolution Cockpit Texture" but that leads to a very blurry text in the display, and blurry texture overall, but no more dots. Second Solution is to use (Super-Sample AA, at least 4X with Box Fliter), and I've used that for a while and I was happy, but it's a big FPS Hit when flying in addon scenery like Aerosoft. I've uploaded some pictures: AA-Adaptive - 8X - Wide-Tent Fliter - LowRes Cockpit, I get around 25~30 FPS in addon scenery. AA-Adaptive - 8X - Wide-Tent Fliter - HighRes Cockpit, As you can see, text is sharp but not readable from distance, Picture maybe not showing it, but I think you got the idea + The dots. I get around 21~26 FPS in addon scenery AA-SuperSample - 4X - Box Fliter - HighRes Cockpit, it's simply Perfect, text are readable, no dots, but it's FPS hit in addon scenery, I get around 15~21 FPS So, what shall I do to get rid of the display dots, without loosing the high quality but with good FPS at the same time, because SuperSample is not the best solution for me (FPS wise). -- Other Notes; Bojote's Tweaking. Here is my settings in FSX: Traffic is OFF, Weather on Medium High Also in ATI Tray: Anisotropic Filtering : Quality with Trilinear, 16X Texture Preference : High Quality MipMap Detail level : High Quality V-Sync : OFF Anisotorpic Filtering Optimization : Checked Trilinear Filtering Optimization : Checked Enable Surface Format Optimizations : Checked Catalyst A.I. : Performance Triple Buffering : Checked Force Z Buffer Depth : Disabled I also had an Nvidia 9600 GSO, and had the same problem, so I think it's not Nvidia , AMD thing? Thanks in advance, sorry if it's repeated ( searched ) or long topic.
  12. Hi, Heard that enabling DX10 increases the frame rates, especially with newer graphics cards, disabling the AI Traffic is a good idea, and helps to gain more FPS, disabling/reducing cars, boats, and other also helps, reducing the water effect option in FSX dose help too, same as reducing the Auto gen and Scenery complex sliders. That's all I know :).
  13. Well, as long as I know, that FSX doesn't take the full advantage of dual cards, or it might take only between 20% to 50% of the second card. But any way, congrats for your new card ;)..Thanks.
  14. Ok, Here is the situation;First of all, Airsimmer Released it for some money problems ( I Assume), so they need cash flow, other side, If people won't buy, the company will close, then there will be no airbus any more, until a new one appears. But the Marketing Move from airsimmer was Badly done, so People complaining about the Marketing and the way you buy, with no Upgrade as an optionFinally, No one knows When the advanced will be available, and some People can't wait the advanced, same time, they don't like the prices and "No Upgrade Option".It's kinda like a circle and we all complain, we are waiting from Airsimmer the correct decision to be taken.
