  5. I am using the Prolimatech Megahalem and running my 920 at 4.0 ghz. the cpu temps stay well bellow 40c when running normal operations, then when i run flight sim, it get up to around 42-45. so thats what i recommend. denis ndregjoni
  6. Hey guys !So i just got my computer set up. Here is what i am running so far:Asus rampage 2 extreme motherboardIntel i7 920 overclocked to 4.0 ghz6gb ocz ddr3 ram overclocked to 1600 mhz.Caviar black 1.5 TB hard driveNvidia 8800gt slicoolermaster 922 tower. Now, my question, is a suggestion on a graphics card. I kinda want something faster! i am running flight simulator x with settings set to very high, light bloom on, and dx 10 off. With the 8800gt i get around 24-30 fps on the pmdg 747-400x, **depending on where i am. sometimes i get like 15 if i am in like downtown new york**. but what i really want to do, is go anywhere and not worry about the frames. (plus, the 8800gt kinda needs some tweaking to get it to do what you want it to do.So, What card do you guys think i should get? And what specifically does a card have to have the most of to make FSX run with high frames? finally Should i go with ATI or Nvidia for fsx? Thanks again for all the help!!Denis Ndregjoni

  10. Well thanks for all the help thus far guys.I recently bought another 8800gt to add to my original. thought i want to ask if i have enough power to handle two of them. i currently am going to put a 750w power supply in my new rig. will this power supply be enough to power both cards and the rest of the system??? or where can i find out how much power will this bad boy eat up?Denis Ndregjoni
  11. thanks for all the great tips guys, my last question is: what can resolve the frame rate oscillations when flying around, by that i mean when the frames are around like 30-40 for a couple of seconds and then they drop to like 7 or 10 for a few seconds and then they come back up? would this be a graphics card issue? this is prominant when i am panning the camera around in SPOT view, and the smoothness of the camera starts to glitch. **this is of course in my old set up, because i have not gotten my new one yet**Thanks again for all the help!! :( Denis NDregjoni
  12. hey guys, i am getting a new rig to get ready for the new pmdg products here is what i got now. ( this is an honest question.)Denis ndregjoni
