  1. to be clear fsx crashes middle of the flight for me. Usually seems to happen during click even to pullup the cdu. FSX stop responding and fatal error restart. I am trying the third flight right now.
  2. tried twice crashed twice
  3. there is a flight plan directory for 747. There is none for 737, so how can i load the the flight plan without entering everything manually in FMC. With 747 it is quite simple, just copy your compatible flight plan in to directory and call it in FMC with "Co Route". Any ideas Bora
  4. maybe we should all have a wager. I don't think it will be ready today Bora
  5. I am not sure how much is Dell or Microsoft programing. When you monitor resource usage, it does not even come close using the full resources. The CPU averages around %30 Memory is around 60%. All this excess capacity, I am not sure why it cannot pull more resources to increase performance.. At 32000FT every thing set to full setting I get 20fps, CPU jumps average %50 memory around 68%. I am not even sure how much video resources it uses. I guess all video card power probably not used all the way....
  6. What is the best trick to improve performance with out turning everything off. I usually keep all settings around medium and aviation traffic 25% and general traffic at %10. Does Directx 10 leads better performance 9? I feel like I should get a little bit more juice of this machine that I am getting. I get around 10 fs during landings which is really annoying. It is a lot more playable when fs is around 15 fs and above. Dell XPS/Dimension 420Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz6GB MemoryPNY Geforce GTS 250 1024MB PCIeHard Drive 320GBVista 32Bit HomeBora
  7. Thanks Mark will try tonight and make sure these are showing on PFD "SPD, LNAV, VNAV PTH . Some reason I guess I was thinking IAS is set for ristriction or changing the speed. I was assuming if it is blank , FMS is controling the speed since VNAV was selected. I guess my assumption was wrong.
  8. I am not sure how to explain this problem but the plane overspeeds in high altitude flight when LNAV and VNAV is both enganged and no speed shows on the IAS/Mach display. What supposed to be displayed on PFD let's say when you are at FL350 and doing .82m?
  9. Can someone post some screen shots for the cockpits?
  10. >I really don't get it. I really don't.>>The price is what it is... either you choose to purchase, or>you don't. The price is determined by many things, what does>the customer think is a 'fair' price isn't part of the>equation. It simply can't be.>>Developers aren't getting rich. Far from it.>>If you don't like the price of something, fine. I don't like>$4 for a gallon of gas. However, that doesn't really affect>the price. Nor does complaining about it.Well normally I would agree but these third party developers on these forums trying to create buzz about their product which is perfectly fine. I am sure they are taking into consideration the comments they see about their products. Negative, positive complains, price what ever it is. If they are not taking the comments into consideration then they won't be in business for a long. This is not any different then any other product. The price will be high initially to maximize the profit. Then will go down eventfully when more competition appears or not enough sales. Delicate balance.
  11. >>@Alex, at max landing weight, landing distance is 3400ft so>>all 4500ft airfields are good. >>>>According to the Aircraft Operations Manual's Simplified>Critera for full flap landing:>>1) Anti-ice systems off.>2) Landing flaps full, approach flaps 15*>3) No tailwind.>4) No downhill runway gradient.>5) Dry runway.>6) Runway length - 4500 feet or longer.>7) Altitude 2000 feet or below.>8) 45* C or colder.>>At landing flaps 15*, maximum landing weight is 31,800lbs>which lists landing distance as 3470. I have flown with Cessna 172 a lot in real life obviously no spoilers there. In FSX it seems like it is hard to slow these planes down even with reverse and spoiler, I always have to apply breaks a lot.

Good luck. The simulation might be complex, but they are not as complex as other games in the market that takes year of development and hundreds of resources. For single aircraft add on charging the same amount of money as the FSX itself it is just not fair pricing. It is just lack of competition. Then they cry about piracy. Well what do you expect? Of course then they say it is as expensive because they know it is going to be pirated sooner or later. So get as much as you can up front mentality.
