Hello everyone. I am looking for the best settings and config for FSX in my computer: i5 4690k @ 4,7 GHz, 8 GB DDR3 1600 and MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr. FSX is installed on SSD harddrive. I will be very grateful for any helping. I want to have about 30 FPS during approaching EHAM by Aerosoft in PMDG 737 NGX (it might be in 2D Cockpit). In addition I want to improve the water... I haven't got any idea why the water looks very bad (I attach the screen below). I used the texture of water from REX4. You are right - i5 4690K is better choice. I will get it. And a little change - i won;t buy SilentiumPC Gladius M40 Pure Black ATX/USB3.0/SSD, I will get SilentiumPC Gladius X60 Pure Black. And CPU Noctua NH-D14 without SE2011 (isn't for Socket 1050). Anything else?

Hi I currently have: MSI P67A-GD65 B3 Intel Core i5-2500K /3.3GHz, 6MB, LGA 1155, BOX Gainward GeForce GTS 250 512MB DDR3/256b PCI-E DG 2 x Kingston HyperX DDR3 2 X 2GB 1333MHz CL9 (8 GB) Samsung 1TB 5400rpm 32MB cache SATA-II F2EG Corsair 600W CMPSU-600CXEU Windows 7 Ultimate x64 What I will want to change: 1) I want to buy ASUS GeForce GTX660 2GB DirectCu II OC and sell currently one (GTS 250). 2) I want to buy new disc Seagate Barracuda 7200.14. 3) I want to buy cooler - maybe this one - Noctua NH-D14. 4) I want to overlocking my CPU - maybe 4,2 or 4,5 GHz? We will see. And finally my questions. Could you tell me if is it any chance do this? Do you know if my power supply - 600 W will be enoght for overlocking? Is it any chance for 25-30 fps using 737 NGX, Aerosoft Schipchol, REX, GEX, UX after overlocking? Maybe other alternations? Thanks a lot for helping.

THANKS!!! :)In fsx.cfg I changed "WideViewAspect" parametr from "false" to "true" and the 2D view is ok!The sound is come back also (in this case, the key was reinstalling DirectX).The last thing which stayed is "AIRAC Database Loading" - I still don't see it when I am selecting 737 NGX.P.S. BTW, in FMC i wasn't able to change anything. In "Sound" section I can't choose anything, I have got onle word "NONE" there. Now (after reinstalling DirectX) I can choose right sound card. :)

Hi, I have tried to solve the problem of audio and view (2D view) in PMDG 737 NGX. First of all I want to remark, that in the past everything was ok. Later I formated the system (Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1) and started to instal Flight Simulator X witm my addons. When I finished, I run the simulator, choose PMDG 737-800 NGX (with SP 1b) and selected the airport. The first view wasn't good - 2D panel was wrong and it saw that:When i put space + middle mouse button the view become normal and it looks like that:But it doesn't solve the problem. The view is ok, but when I use a hat switch from 2D panel (for example if i want to see what is on my right), and the view comes back to front it looks like the first picture. :(Second of my problem is audio. I don't hear any sound except of engines. Any voice of selectors, any foice of flaps, any voice of TCAS, any voice of altitudes and much more...And one thing more, I have got the MD-11 X and 747 X and in this aircrafts everything is ok. And after selecting any aircraft of PMDG except 737 i see AIRAC Database loading. When i select PMDG 737 NGX this database isn't loading (before formatting it loaded).Of course i tried to solve this problem myself but without any success. :( I decide to do a second format of my computer. I installed the same system - Win 7 Ultimate x64, installed the game and the rest of addons and I thought it will be ok. But it not. ;( The problems of 737 NGX are the same. :(I will be very grateful for any helping. Hi everyone. :)I want to buy a new PC for FSX. But first of all I want to remark that I won't overlocking anything (I have never done it, I haven't got any idea about it and I won't do it ;) ).I have got the graphic card from my old PC - it is Gainward GeForce GTS 250 512 MB. Is it ok for FSX or not? Do you use this card or buy a new one?And what I expect from FSX? I want to fly on VATSIM by PMDG MD-11 or PMDG 747 (later NGX and 777 of PMDG as well - but it is a long future). It will be great when FPS during approaching on ex. EDDM Scenery of Aerosoft is ok. I want to use REX, UT, GE as well.About cash I might spend 3 000 PLN - it is about 725 euro.Thanks for any suggestion

I have got the problem with refreashing (???) the some textures in 2D panel. The RDMI indicator and the watch are refreashing in unnaturral way. It is hard to explain and in this case i attach the short movie: http://yfrog.com/n5mov01027z . In the basic way: for the moment RDMI is black and later it come back, and it is happens very often...I have got the SP3, reinstall isn't solve the problemThanks for any suggestion.

First of all I want to say hello for everyone. ;)And secondly I have got a question. Is it any way for setting cold and dark panel as a defautl panel for MD-11? The same question for Boeing 747-400 (both of version for FS2004)?I suppose I might create a flight, set as button as I want and save this flight with markins 'Default flight' but I want to avoid it - I did this for Cessna 172 and my Boeing 737 NG work good, but not the rest of PMDG aircrafts. :/I want to remark that I want to have all PMDG aircrafts with cold and dark panel as a default panel (without any importing).Thanks for helping. :)
