One thing I noticed is that your tweak site turned aircraft self shadowing on, and ground shadows off. I used to run ground shadows with no a/c self shadowing. Is there any advantage to just running a/c self shadow and not ground shadows?

FS9 is an old sim. I won't fly it let alone buy addons for it. I really doubt this thread will convince developers to develop for FS9 and X. That's what you were after wasn't it?

I am having many problems now. I had been running a much much older driver and using Nhancer. Today I updated to the newest driver and used this method. My AA is very sporadic now. I did all the steps in this thread and it worked perfectly, but then I started another flight and it was all jaggy and looked terrible. I don't know why this is happening.Now it seems that any time I go into a multiplayer game, my AA gets disabled. I really am lost.

Ah yes I am sorry I forgot my name. I am on a new hard drive but I have FSX on a seperate drive than my OS so now I did not have to reinstall the OS. Brand new hdd and FSX installRyan Rezabek

I own both the MD-11 and the J-41. I had both running perfectly on my old FSX install but I recently had a hard drive crash and had to reinstall FSX. After getting FSX up and running again, I am having problems reinstalling the PMDG planes. The J41 installs fine and seems to fly ok, but when I try to install repaints, it says there is no aircraft.cfg found. The J41 also did not have me activate it at any point in the install. On my old install, it had me activate it in the FSX preview window. I then tried to install the MD-11 and that proved just as bad. The plane seems to install fine but then after the installation it has me install the V2008 redistributable or something like that. Ir gives me the options "repair" and "uninstall". I click repair and then it gives me an error that says there is not enough space on the hard drive for it which is not true because there is something like 500 Gb free. neither of the Service packs will install either. What is going on guys?
