Tried this and this time I had something like this: Whenever I ask for ATIS at about 50miles (I use Radar Contact) I get local temp at... 15 celcius... as i get closer the weather gets "correct", however still it only changes to the reight one when I am about to hit the RWY. I just made landing with close up on the temp screen on my A318. i had create virtual stations ticked and enchance route coverage on as well. Dynamic rate of change was set to 0%.Something is fishy here...

Hi,I have the following problem with weather at dep and arr airports. No matter what I do, it changes after leaving 10mi radius from the airport. While on departure I am not bothered that much as I am busy conrolling the climb out, it somehow irritates me on arrival. I have force arr weather ticked, however it does not work as it should. I do get correct weather as soon as I fly into 10mi radius from destination airport. I have tested it. I had a missed approach and went out to published holding, which took me in and out 10mi radius. Everytime I have entered it, the weather changed in and out. What am I doing wrong?Help is much appreciated.

I got some more q's regarding the snapshot. i just installed all textures for all 7 conditions. And then what do i do? Just leave as it is and ASA will pick the correct ones according to the weather report? When flight plan got loaded, I had option to upload snapshot, and I did - Universal. As a result I had... 15 degrees temp when it should have been 1. QNH was nto matching either. So I quit ASA, restarted it and loaded again, but without going for load snapshot option. Result was positive as the temp/weather and QNH was matching perfectly. Can you please post additional explanation? Thanks!

Hi all. I have problem with understanding how the dynamic update works? What are the differences between different settings? Which setting will give the most realistic wx output? some set it to 0% some set it to 100% and others to 50%. I have read many threads, and nowhere it is actually explained how it really works... and yes, I did read the manual :)SEcond thing is the use of snapshot. First of all, I did read the manual about it, however I seek a bit more og explanation. Ok, so i use REX for textures and ASA for weather. Now to me it looks like I should import about 7 different textures which will correspond to different weather output by ASA. For example, I choose the best clouds settings for rain or thunder or nice clear skies. I upload each set of textures to FSX and after one is installed i take a snapshot and allocat it. Then upload another and take the shot. After 7 shots I should have the perfect set and... then ASA will upload them according to the wx reportes. It this the way it should be?Thanks for any comments.

So I have sacrigficed last nite and went to do some searches. To me it seems that some kind of rouge weather station is responsible for all this. Day before I had my dynamic weather changes set to the lowest. Once I went into this high TAT it took quite some time to get out of it. Then slider was 50/50 and when it happened it took also some time but shorter than befoer. Now, last night I flew with setting out to the max, and when it happened it took some seconds and i was out of it. I assume that during that time I went into the rouge station zone and went out of it. when you fly on short distances chances of getting such is much less than taking long haul of few hours, as simply on short you have fewer stations to pass by.The only way to be 100% positive on this is to go 1by1 thru stations before we fly. I will try to save the Wx file once downloaded and then after the problems happens, I can revert to it and search where exactly it was located.Perhaps someone could do the same? It could streghten the effort in finding solution.

Small update from me... Just flew from EGLL to Palma... shortly after take off at FL10 temp went to high +50 :( a minute after it went back to what it should have been and stayed as it should be... Minus is that in Airbus, you do not see the TAT unless you open the display which is somehow half way hidden. I realized after the plane stopped climbing, atarted to go down and I overspeed... ATC as well started to scream... Quick decision, switched to manual climb vs managed and we went up again. At the same time temp went back to normal again.Next time I will enchance the route coverage and we will see how it will go.PSI know this is topic for MD-11, so I hope I am not bothering anyone with reporting my issues wit TAT here.

THX. So fixed do not relate to me as I did not encounter such problems.BTW - TAT issue on my ASA seems to be temporarly solved by disabling DWC... I think :) -
