  1. Hi all,Actually I just noticed that the TAT problem and clouds at minus level happens... mainy in Europe. i have never seen this problem in US as of yet.
  2. And what if there is not VOR withing 5miles or the VOR is @ the airport?
  3. I am trying to get the software to show correct weather again as it used to. For some reason it stopped, mening it was showing departure weather, no matter where I went. Now, just completed flight. DWC on and dynamic rate of change 50%. Flight could be called perfect. All as supposed to be, except some times when station was changed I got different weather imiediately. I hope this can be solved by:1. prevent cloud redraws?2. enhancing coverage?3. setting dynamic rate of change to 1%?
  4. Ok, do I will ease on the map, thing is that DWC is disabled... however I had visibility smoothing on. I also had enhance the coverage on and additional stations on/off while in flight to see what happens. REcently I have switched on force destination weather on. This happens with and without flight plan loaded. So - could it be that DWC is still on despite the fact that it is off?Maybe I should play a bit with FCUIPC? I get message that initial weather is loaded and it is matching.Maybe something to do with loct to the nearest/lock to FS position? I tried both actually but I am not sure.I will try with DWC on this time, since I have X-Gauge I can still see what will be arrival weather and RC ATIC is not necesary ;-)i am not sure about one thing... lock to FS position or Lock to the nearest station???
  5. Radar Contact. I am totally lost in this case, especially that I see proper weahter on the x-gauge, I am over the airport, and see the correct weather on ASA pages and then when I go to FSX map I see sometging totally different - same weather in all locations. And sometimes when locked to the nearest is on it will never change as I fly along so I turn stick to FS position.
  6. Forgot to add that this happens while I am flying Level-D. Before i had Wilco product's and it was ok if I remember. Perhaps this is the problem? Could it be?
  7. I have changed the dynamic rate back to 100% and did get change in weather. In other case - 1% i had proper weather on the XGauge, and was overflying airport where the RC Wx update told me -4 at LEPA, which in fact was matching ELLX departure weather. Also if I click on the weather stations enroute all show ELLX departure weather. Lock to closest do not halp, I think that lock to FS position might helped.Any ideas? Any one else has the same? I admit that all was working perfect and suddenly stopped... :(And YES, ASA is connected to FSX :) Also all is run on admin level, FSX started thru ASA or alone, same effect.
  8. Strange things are happening. it was the same today, so I started to play with ASA. Some how i got the weather depticed but either dynamic rate of change spoils things or something else that I have no clue about. Could it be the automatic download which is set to 30 minutes instead of faster?
  9. I start ASA as admin, and FS thru ASA. So now I will try to do FSX as admin and we will see.Situation is a bit strange, because I am using ASA since month and just now saw this issue.
  10. Yes, all above are as you say. Current location = closest airport which is ELLX (10miles from where I live). When I start FSX I bet it stays the same. One thing I changed recently is... automatic downloads to 30minutes and dynamit rate of change to 1% (beats the wind changes).System = Vista64 4gigs RAM 2GHZ duo.
  11. I suppose it does. 3 cases:1. KMIA - Lima, Peru. Same weather on both locations;2. KIAD - KLAX - today. 17 degrees in IAD and same in LAX :)3. LEPA - EPWA - I got 55 in EPWA which this time of year would be nice record breaking :)Now, how can I check if ASA get's my location? I am based in ELLX and everytime I start ASA I get the ELLX report. Then I start FS with ASA button. Maybe I should do something different?
  12. Following this logic, changing to sim time, means that ASA will use different weather - not current one, but somehow... historic? Is this correct? If this is not the case, than what is the difference?
  13. So i added VOR which is either at Airport or in area of max 5NM. Everything changes now as I get instructions never heard before. Now things are just fine.I still wait for holding but will be patient :)
  14. I just noticed as it happended in past 3 flights. No flight plan loaded and the weather is the same in all places... happens in North America, South America and Europe.I guess this means that flight plan has to be loaded... correct?Yet again I will face issues with TAT problem when clouds are reported below ground level...Any ideas?
  15. Is there possibility to be held due to heavy traffic on approach?
  16. Never had last checkpoint at 5miles from destination :) But hey, even if I do it, ATC usually vectors to rwy much ealrier than 5miles VOR... Will this still be ok?And last one - does this apply to traffic too? I will dig into manual, but if you could just shoot from your head :(
  17. This question is regarding ATC placine planes to holding. Unfortunatley still I have not experienced being holded due to weather - despite the option turned on in the settings. We all know that in reality in busy places like EDDF, KJFK, KLAX etc... due to heavy traffic planes are assigned to hold due to traffic. Will this be possible to implement such in version 5?
  18. Request for Virtual;ICAO: PLCCountry: PolandCallsign: 'POLAND CARGO'Can you please kindly add this one? Thanks :(
  19. I will add from me. Yesterday I was flying from KJFK to EDDF. flight plan uploaded and I decided to... have a look on the route situation. All stations across Atlantic had the temp problem which was showing as clouds below sea level + wrong temperature. So I decided to use ASA but without flight plan filed... and it worked. Flight went smooth and weather still was as predicted. One thing is interesting. Usually TAT problem occurs with Advanced Intepoolation and when virtual stations are created, but ONLY when flight plan is loaded. In other cases - even with route enhancement etc there is no problem - ok at least I have not seen it.Maybe this observation helps :(
  20. That great to hear. Really this product rocks! What is even better is that it can be upgraded :)Regarding Oceanic clearences. I have no clue how complicated it is to implement, but maybe you could go into something "light"? Something that is simulating it in some bit at least. I would say that entering track and alt clearence that would have to be obtained would be enough for a start. Along the way switchin to HF radio - simulated by RC of course - would bo ok too. Yet again, I have no idea how much work it is for you.
  21. Hey JD,Will you have some some proposition for proper Natrack crossing? I know that full rule might be hard to adapt, but at least the option of registering to enter the trace within certain rules that apply? Just a thought, but it might be interesting as flying thru North Atlantic is quite interesting :)
  22. Sure it is, but as you said, no one uses it, as shorter version prevails :)
  23. Polish Airlines request:Lot - currently it's POLLOT, however in real life it is only LOTEuroLot callsign = EUROLOTWizzAir - ok, this one is Hungarian but main hub is in Poland :) callsign = WIZZAIRCan this be included?
  24. I have dual. I will try to setup RC on second one together with ASA. FSX runs on both. Well, actually I do not bother so much for RC Wx report, as I can always check with ASA ATIS, plus RC only mixes up winds and temp sometimes, QNH always was correct (which is good for altimeter :( )I will check it out and see what suits me best.
  25. Hi,On that particular flight no, but today I completed flight with DWC enabled. Suprise, suprise, weather was somehow better and almost as expected. I found out that if I do not put alternate airport to the flight plan imported to ASA, weather will be as it supposed to be. Perhaps ASA takes alternate field as the one where the forced WX is loaded? Could be, as all my previouse alternates were located further than 80 miles. So, generally I think that DWC is working quite alight, but... :( Radar Contact works really slow with it. I need to figure that part out... You know, I got this product mainly for the DWC feature...And last thing, at 3500ft I had SAT at +7 and TAT somehow close to that. Also when I checked the weather at departure my TAT was -4 (as it should be) and SAT at +13. Is this correct?
