The V shape smoots little inputs and corrections. The a/c reacts slower but it is easyer to fly it precisely. At full deflection the controls have full efficiency and the a/c reacts as quick as normal. Many light a/c uses similar settings to have a smooth ride but full rudder authority if needed (e.g. for the sideslip). The inverted V shape (or bell shape) has the opposite effect. Small inputs have full authority, big inputs have lesser authority. The stock big jets use frequently the inverted V to make the a/c sluggish. Some a/c use an inverted W shape: smoot reactions with little inputs, bigger inputs with normal efficiency and lesser efficiency again by full deflection. But before playing with this sections I would check the MOI and control dampers in section 1101 too.Ciao, Sergio
