Problem Solved!!! Watched Rob's and David McClean's vids over @ YT and decided to take the 4k plunge. Upgraded to 4k monitor (Asus PB287Q) running @ 30hz. Stutters completely vanished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4k 30hz is a must for P3D imho because of its fake fullscreen that's why i believe there will always be a stutterfest even tho reaching good fps Regards, Dario

well..well. I bought two 850 Samsung EVOs 250 Gb (OS) & 120Gb (P3D) to see what happens...guess what It still stutters............... Maybe it's my 960SSC 2Gb idk, maybe 2Gb is not enough

NickN suggested not to use NVI with P3D as it's not needed...so i discontinued using it. So yeah no SGSS to remove for me. I've been doing some testing only to realize that I only get this 2-3 sec stutter... then smooth problem on/overland not flying over ocean. Something to do with slow loading textures on land?? One more trick, I'll just buy an 120GB SSD dedicated for P3D and see what happens...if not I'm done for good.

tried that also. my gut is telling me it's my HDD...may need to upgrade to SSD idk

nicksort, tried that there are no fluctuations (stable). i thought u guys should also know , it's only the VC that has this 2sec stutter issue, Wingviews, view without VC no stuuters only VC

nicksort- the taskmanager always shows P3D on top when sorted high to low...no other processes popped up....been at it for an hr There is something that's bugging me tho. P3D's website stated, "Solid State Drive (SSD) is strongly recommended"....i currently have a TOSHIBA 1TB mechinal HDD dedicated to both my OS & P3D tho I never had stuttering probs in FSX apart from the Mouse-Cursor frame Drop. I've spent wayy too much money on my PC and would really hate to know if I but a SSD its still stutters. Don't know what to do anymore.

I usually defrag with O&O but this doesn't help in the least. I'm going to do fresh reinstall of my OS, change cables, reseat GFX card, RAM and see what happens. x fingers

DSR doesn't help and I tried shutting down Windows Search indexer and nothing. well i previously had a GTX 760 4GB but i sold it and bought this GTX 960 2GB SuperSuperclocked. I'm really stump with this. Guess I'm going to give up this hobby for a longgg while and there's no way I going back to FSX wid those mouse-cursor drops....sighhh Dario

I just fiddled with HT and affinity mask...still stutters. Also, GPU and VRAM usage appear to be fine according PrecisionX. ASN Freq updates are ok So don't know what next

Hello, Ok, so I've made the jump from FSX to P3Dv3 but I have a problem that really has me baffled. Every time I'm in the VC (Aerosoft Airbus OR PMDG) at an airport I always have this 2-3 sec stutter then butter smooth.... then 2-3 sec stutter...some sort of cycle that I can't get rid of. It's more pronounced during turns or looking side ways. I mean honestly, the only reason why I left FSX was because of the mouse-cursor drop prob but making the switch to P3D that issue seemed to be diminished and now somehow i'm having this 2-3sec stutter is driving me insane. I previously had WIN 7 with same issue and then i read somewhere that upgrading to WIN 10 solved the same issue others were having....didn't work for me. My CPU temps are fine, GPU not overloaded, FSCUIPC not installed (case anyone wondering - autosave feat) & really don't know where to go from here. I don't know if to called this Microsuttering or Frame Rate Slow Downs but i believed it's the latter. E.G. of FRSD - http://www.testufo.com/#test=stutter&demo=slowdowns&foreground=FFFFFF&background=000000&max=12&pps=720. The thing is, I have the sim capped @ 30FPS NOT 60 FPS with VSYNC ON & TB activated so I don't see why the sim should slow down...then smooth again. Ok, so I tried turning on Antialiasing - Gamma correction in NI and the issue isn't that noticeable now....since then I moved to P3Dv3 with a whole new issue...will post in P3D section tho. Thanks Guys!

I had a GTX 760 before and thought it was the problem, so i switched to GTX 960 thinking it would of corrected the problem but sadly no. I also, reinstalled OS..still same problem. At a lost here. My gut is telling me it has something to do with Transperency Supersampling as this fix all my shimmering once before, its just somehow it isn't kicking in.

Hi guys. I have an ongoing problem with Antialiasing with FSX that i just can't get rid of. The thing is, i have constant Shimmering with the exterior aircraft, VC, taxiways, runways, it almost appears the screen is crawling even though the screen is stationary. I may also add, when using the PMDG T7 the N1 gauge looks jagged and wrong (https://ctrlv.cz/en/w8Im). I believed I had solved this shimmering problem once before by enabling Transperency Supersampling -2x spare grid or higher but for some reason it isn't working even though its on.
