  1. When I was flying it manually I was keeping the rudder in with my feet and it was all ok I trimmed it out using the actual aircraft rudder trim via the VC and before engaging the autopilot it was all trimmed out but when I engaged the AP, it obviously was putting its own input in from somewhere as with the rudder trim in there was too much rudder in
  2. Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on the 737-800. I fly the aircraft for a living and have found the sim very useful for practising both procedures and flying exercises. When I was going through the pre flight flow I noticed that when I turned on the fuel pumps I got the noise of the hydraulics turning on. The other thing was while I was flying on one engine and needed to engage the A/P to get set up for an approach etc. I found that I had to completly centre my rudder trim or else the aircraft flew off to one side. I thought this was unusual as with one A/P enaged during flight it should not have control over the rudder. In the aircraft you can engage the A/P but you need to either hold the rudder in yourself or trim it off. Any thoughts? Stephen Smartt
  3. Hi, Hope someone can help me with a problem I seem to be having with all my aircraft in FSX. Recently purchased a new dedicated flight sim system with 3x monitors from wired2fire. Fsx was preinstalled and I later added a number of PMDG aircraft. The problem is that at no time have I been able to get any of the aircraft to display the 2d cockpit. Also the cursor constantly flickers as if there is something being processed. All I can get is three black boxes along the bottom were I presume the 2d cockpit would be. My version of FSX is up to date with SP2 and I made sure the Visual Studio 2008 runtime file is working correctly by downloading it again. The VC looks great of course but it is a bit awkward trying to get the right balance of inside/outside particularly on finals doing a visual landing. On my old single screen system I could click on the ND or PFD and it would display an enlarged version of them in the corner so that I could have my primary view outside and have the instruments for reference in the corner. Unfortunately now with the 3 screen system it displays the PFD in a very narrow compressed box in the left hand screen, any ideas how to move it at all without the trouble of opening new windows? A know there is a lot but if anyone has any ideas or advice it would be greatly appreciated. Also is there any good viewing add ons for FSX like you see some of the guys make videos with in FSX. Kind RegardsStephen Smartt
