  1. Yeah, I hear you Jim! You can be sure that I won't get rid of FSX until I'm 100% sure that I have everything from it that I need or want. Thanks to all of you for your feed back! Happy Landings! Dennis
  2. Thanks so much Jeroen! I pretty much figured that was the case but I just wasn't certain. Thanks again & have a great day! Happy Landings! Dennis
  3. Hi guys, I've got a question and I "think" my common sense is already giving me the answer, however.....I'm just not sure. I've got a HDD that is already past the 70% full mark, which I'm working at getting cleaned up, but it's a slow process. Anyway, I'm considering making the jump to P3D based on everything that I've read so far, and I've searched the internet and most of the forums and I can't find the answer to my question, so "if" it's already been answered somewhere before, I apologize! My question is.....once you install P3D and have all your addon's ported over, can you then.....uninstall FSX?!!! Thanks for any and all feed back on this topic! Happy Landings! Dennis
  4. Personally.......I hope you make two different versions. Historically / Politically correct or not, I know I would get far more enjoyment from being able to pick, and fly one without the swastikas! I don't deny history in any way, shape, nor form. However! I would not want to fly in something sporting the "symbol" of something that represents so much hurt and death. I sincerely hope you'll make two different paints. Dennis
  5. Well........if you guys look at the very first post that Javiz put on here (the very top) he explained that he wanted to use something that may be a littler simpler to learn on for the first native FSX model, and he / they selected the N3N. Considering what a magnificent job he's doing on the N3N, I would think that you'd be happy and all excited because it ought to be obvious that when he gets to the DC-3......it's going to be a real knock-out!!! If it were me, I would be wanting to buy the N3N when it's done so that I had a "highly detailed" bi-plane to enjoy and be awe struck with while waiting on the DC-3! So if you guys peek inside that big dark cloud hanging over your heads, you'll find a silver lining in there! It's the N3N. Cheer Up!:( Happy Landings!
  6. Hi Stephen! Well........I was right! LOL My config file was definitely messed up. Now I have it fixed up and the dang plane (none of the default DC-3's)still won't show in the "preview window" after you select the plane and it still won't load, so now, I'm pretty much lost! Lately, I seem to spend a fair amount of time in......lost! God I hate getting old! LOL Anyway, thanks again for the aircraft.cfg file, at least I've got that fixed up now! Appreciate the help bud!
  7. I got it Stephen. Thank you! Tried to edit my post and couldn't, so I did contact one of the moderators. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it! Just goes to show that I'm not perfect! LOL
  8. Hi, Thanks for the reply and if you will, please post it for me! Have you ever tried to get ahold of Michael other than to just say "Hi"???? He's one busy son of a gun!
  9. All folders are intact and there are no filters set. When you click on the change aircraft, "all" of my planes show, but if you select the default DC-3, it won't show up in the preview window nor will it load, so having nothing more than common sense to work with, I had narrowed it down to the config file, but....I could still be wrong! LOL However, I thank you for the input anyway.
  10. Thanks for the advice! I can't seem to get into it now to edit it, but so be it! I was in a rush when I posted that and never even gave it a thought, but I do appreciate the advice!
  11. Hi guys! I have a small problem. My FSX Default DC-3 isn't showing up or loading. Last night I got to checking the aircraft.cfg file against the DC-3 folder and all the repaint/texture folders and realized that something got all messed up. I deleted some of the add on textures but my DC-3 still won't load, nor will it show in the aircraft preview window. I thought about inserting the FSX disk and attempting a "repair", but I'm afraid that it would mess up all my other add ons and settings which I had done by Michael Greenblatt from FS-GS, so I dang sure don't want to mess anything up. So, would someone please send me your aircraft.cfg file for the default FSX DC-3, so that I can try to either repair or replace mine. I have to assume that it's the aircraft.cfg file that's messed up and keeping it from previewing and loading. If more convenient, you can send it to me via email at,fair dot winds at yahoo dot com Many thanks in advance, and if someone thinks that the problem is something different than the .cfg file, I'm all ears!!!! LOL
  12. Hi Marniftarr! I've been looking at some of your videos and I must say that I'm impressed! You're obviously a very talented individual. I for one, would definitely buy your product with or without TIR support. Can you give us an idea of when your product will be available and a rough idea of the probable cost?Thank in advance Marniftarr! Keep up the great work! :(
