Top of the line as always! With the pre-release comes a video, will you guys be having AoA do the first impressions video like you did with the NGX, I thought that was pretty amazing video...before release.

I think they are more than likely taking the silence approach considering how the NGX went, we seem to go through this every time they are in development, I want it released as much as the next person, but there is nothing we can do. Think how much work they've probrably gotten done not having to moderate the forum as much cause everyone is flippin out about lack of info. But when it's released everyone will praise them as i will cause it will be out of this world, and then after a yr or so we will start the process all over again with 747 2.0 etc....... Whatever that quote was from the staff member about Dec 22 in terms of upgrading the broadband and servers is a good indication of when it will be out i like to think

There was no intent of finding out how much anyone makes at PMDG, I personally think it's rude to ask of one's salary, since they have so many products i don't know if you could gauge how much they do make with one products release, but to what Kyle was referring to I do see where you could get a rough idea.

Richard, Well other companies release figures such as Far Cry, Half Life, Metro 2033, other than they may be be a public company, I understand PMDG is privately held, and it was just a simple question no harm meant, and yes i thought about it. Mike Davey 777

So i bought the extended download, and about a month ago had to have another link sent due to some maintence on the CPU. So it says there's no need for an service updates as they are the latest model, but the one i just got doesn't have the FO's Terrain display. So my question is should I get the SP1C, cause I know when the first or 2 SP came out it had the FO's dispaly. Thanks, Mike Davey 777

So, I just had to redownload FSX, and I can't seem to get the SP1 dowloaded. I wanted to see if anyone had a site they recomend other than FS Insider that would be safe to get 1 and 2 from. THere is a link for people who don't have Visual 2005 C++ installed, but I already have it, not sure if it would hurt to use this or not, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike Davey 777

Can someone tell me how and why my color has changed to a light blue on the circuit breaker and bareley visibal on the MCP and the FMC's back lightning is purplish, everything else is fine?? Not sure how to changes these back, not sure if REX has something to do with it?Thanks,

So I keep running into this problem every time I have to install any SP's . I save it then try to open it, but then all these windows start opening up. Can someone tell me how to get it to a ZIP file where I can extract it. I save it, then send it to a compressed file, but it keeps trying to open in Internet Explorer. I did the first SP, but now I can't remember how I did it? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,

I have to save it, cause if i open it right away, it opens windows like crazy

I have windows Vista and when I go to download the SP1, all these windows keep opening, I need to open it in something other than internet explorer, I had the same problem when I downloaded the base pack, but cant remember how I managed to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,
