August 19, 201213 yr So, I just had to redownload FSX, and I can't seem to get the SP1 dowloaded. I wanted to see if anyone had a site they recomend other than FS Insider that would be safe to get 1 and 2 from. THere is a link for people who don't have Visual 2005 C++ installed, but I already have it, not sure if it would hurt to use this or not, but any help would be appreciated. August 19, 201213 yr What does it mean downloading exactly? It's a payware addon, you can buy it here: http://emea.microsoftstore.com/UK/en-GB/Microsoft/Flight-Simulator-X-Acceleration-Expansion-Pack

August 21, 201213 yr Commercial Member Thanks, I appreciate it. One other question, I've never had Acceleration, I've always just had SP1 and 2, Should i be downloading it. Mike Davey 777 Like said it's not free so you would have to pay for it. All it really adds is default quality fighter, helicopter and maybe some third plane, I don't remember... It adds some improvements / features to piston engine simulation (or some other engine type, I don't remember), however really very very few addons require Acceleration. In my opinion if you already have normal or deluxe FSX acceleration would be just waste of money as you can find better freeware than planes/helicopter Acceleration offers.
